India Break Multiple World Records In 3rd T20I Victory vs South Africa. Here is a list of the records that India broke or matched during the 3rd T20I:

1. Most sixes in T20s by a team in a single calendar year

India became the first-ever team in T20 history to hit 200 sixes in a calendar year, having done so in 2024.

2. Most 200+ scores in T20s by a team in a single calendar year

Team India have now notched up eight totals of 200 or more in 2024, making it a record. They eclipse their own record of seven from 2023, which was a joint-record alongside Birmingham Bears (2022) and the Japan national cricket team (2024).

3. Second-ever team to win 100 T20Is away

India have followed in Pakistan's footsteps by becoming the second team to reach 100 T20I wins away from home. Overall, India have won 164 T20Is.

4. Five individual centuries in a calendar year for the second time

Tilak Varma's hundred was India's fifth individual century of 2024, making them the first team to notch up five individual centuries in a calendar year twice (2023 and 2024). Previously, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) had also achieved this, in 2016.

Maybe this is last chance for indian team to win a match as next one and half month's we are likely to lose all the game ( BGT)

Hoping for a great South Africa win.

It was a shame South Africa couldn't win the 3rd game after getting very close.

Dunno why i absolutely don’t care about Samson.. seems to be the replica of Uthappa.

Class difference is clear to see between Sanju and Abhisek.

Sanju does not have to dance down or expose his stumps to hit big shots

Abhishek has to do a lot of dancing in the crease to score big.

Pant does similar things, I’m not judging the antics anymore but mental strength.

In T20 doesn't matter how is your batting styles ,what is important how fast they are scoring runs.

Saffers have no reserve remarkable how they reached the finals.
Two wides already by this bowler

The way Abhisek plays, he will fail a lot more times than he succeeds. He is a hit or miss player.
If he can click 4 out for 10 game its very good because he single-handedly can won that four game .

This is how impact player play the game in T20.

As i type he is gone . 36 (18) is pretty good innings

Abhishek’s dance show is over. A few big hits and it’s over.

He is a Ferrari with no brakes. Very short shelf life.

The way he plays 40% success is too high. He will be a 2 out of 10 success player. But when he clicks, it’s game over for the opposition.

The point is, he will be easily scapegoated for any loss that India will go through. Will not be easy for him to hold on to his place in the team.

India have so strong batting that all they need is just one player to click on the day and they easily get to 180+ and if a couple of them join the party then 200+ is on.

That's crazy. If Pakistan had got to even 60 in PP we would have been doing bhangdhay moves.

To be fai, South Africa are not fielding their main side.

Also, this pitch seems flat.

This type of score is often scored by Australia, England, Windies.

South Africa is even worse than Pakistan at home. So far it's been a one sided encounter.

Dayem IND keep producing quality batsmen who can play fast.

Abhishek, Tilak, Sanju.

And what do we have? RIZWAN, Babar, Farhan, Abdullah Shafique, Salman Agha, Haseebullah.

All these guys won’t even make 2nd tier IND T20 team.

If these young IND batters were playing for Pakistan they would have already been elevated to ATG status, and comparisons with Kohli, AB, Ricky Ponting would have already started.

That's what Pakistan even aims right now. They think it's modern Cricket. Lol. They will be behind again. World has moved from 60/0 powerplays

SA trundlers put to sword.

Sanju and Tilak rampaging. India needs all the runs they can. This is belter of a pitch.

I expect SA batters also giving the same treatment to Indian bowlers.

Maybe one or 2 of them will make some runs, usually they choke under preassure.

All young Indian batsmen are great pullers and hookers. They will shine on pacy and bouncy surfaces. But these guys cannot play spin.

Most boundaries for India in the first 10 overs in T20Is:

  • 26 vs Bangladesh, Hyderabad, 2024
  • 20 vs Sri Lanka, Indore, 2017
  • 19 vs South Africa, Johannesburg, 2024
  • 19 vs Sri Lanka, Pallekele, 2024

Secretly praying for Australia to give this kind of phenta to Pakistan tomorrow.

We will never learn as a cricket nation until it’s smashed right into us.

Yes. Good coping mechanicsm. This is indeed shocking

14: 199-1

Coping mechanism? Not at all.

199/1 in 14 overs is junk cricket. It shows there is something wrong somewhere (flat pitch or whatever).

South African fielding has been shocking and hilarious at the same time

This looks like IPL bowling. On the slot one after another.

Same Tilak Verman was struggling against Pakistan's emerging bowling last month.

15: 219-1 Carnage of the highest order... Only Head and McGurk can chase this... maybe.

What's the highest t20 record score ever in an international? Will this be the one?
India looks like they'll get 300 here.
