29th century for Kohli. Going past Sanath. Great batting track. Love the sound of bat hitting the ball. Both time it so well.

double from king kohli coming up.. we might see the best ever one day score today

That means, they will score 248 more runs in the remaining 17 overs.

Well they have 8 wickets in hand and Sharma at the crease, they could get close to that target; surely 400 is the bare minimum from here though

SUre Malinga got a wicket with a wide ball. But overall he is becoming more and more rubbish. He should call it quits. He got his 300 now. Perfect time to quit.

I agree that he is no way near his former self, but still he is the best pacer in his country.

Oh boy, Sri Lanka, you're getting mauled.

Sad thing is, I just watched Sanga blast a beautiful knock in CPL. Maybe he should have retired from tests and played a bit longer in ODIs.

Thakur is bowling beautifully. Pace and accuracy.

He is too short for a pace bowler. Just like Hassan Ali.

what a piece of fielding..Overrated Mendis departs again... the guy avgs below 35 in list a as well as FC cricket. I really think he needed more time atleast one more year in domestic. I know he has played many good innings for Lanka but he is very inconsistent.

Guy has some pace. He just bowled 148k delivery. Consistently bowling over 140k's.

Huge promise. Has been knocking on selectors radar for atleast couple of years. He looks a very good Limited over bowling prospect atleast. can bowl at good pace with excellent control. Death bowling needs some work though.
Pity he is already 26, considering the short life span for pace bowlers(especially indian)

Its too early as you know Indian bowlers fade away after initial promises.
However, S Thakur is quick, can notched up 90miles.
Id add him to tour for South Africa, What you think?

For SA tour, you already have Shami/Yadav/BK for Tests.

Ash/Jaddu/Kuldeep will be the spin combination.

Hard for Shardul to find a spot unless someone gets injured.

Shardul just played A tour in SA, so he has the experience playing there plus he was India's top wicket taker in Tri series. At least he should be part of ODIs

BK and Bumrah are automatic selections in the ODI's. Pandya will also be there.

So there will be 2 spots left for bowling. One will be a spinner (Kuldeep/Jaddu). So the fight will be for the one bowler spot between Yadav/Ashwin/Shardul.

Very hard for Thakur to get in unless someone gets injured.

I think Ravi Shastri has played a role in Rohit's form and consistency! He is always fond of him! Rahul may lose out on LOIs and become a test specialist (Losing the opener spot is not helping his case!)

Thakur is trundling now. Into his 6th over. Bowling between 134-138k. His first 3 overs were pacy.

I tink Shastri is a great motivator. Instills a lot of confidence into batsmen.

Rahul is an opener. Not a middle order guy. He is suffering playing in the middle order. He can be out of the ODI team if he fails in the next ODI.

Funny thing is, Rahul is not out of Form to me. He is middling well. He is just finding fielders when ever he is playing an uppish shot.

Manish Pandey is a brilliant fielder. He is a massive upgrade over Jadhav in that department.

Rahul can only play as an opener in ODIs; India still needs to figure out #4 and #5 in ODIs. Time to give Krunal a try as well.

Can anyone give tough fight to this team in bilateral series? I don't think so.

R R almost 10 and SL still tuk tuking. They are not even showing an intent to win, it seems they are playing for average and stay notout. Seriously, SL team have no charisma or falir of an international team. I doubt there are many neutrals out there who would watch Lankan play.

Most boring one sided series ever.:37::37:

This SL team is not that bad. They are made to look bad by super good team.

This is reminding the days when Windies came to India after 83 world cup and thrashed the hell out of our wc winning team.

SLankans trying to playout all the overs and saving themselves from embarrassment. They were never going to chase anything over 250.

Pakistan has to do really bad to lose against Lanka

Pakistan were trying their level best to lose against Lanka but Lanka took it one step further. Oh still remember that drop by Perera. Easiest catch to be dropped.

India are one of those teams that are unforgiving against inferior teams.

Sri Lanka have not won an ODI bilateral series against India both home and away since 1997.

Total domination
