Reports are that there will be a bit for the seamers in the pitch.

Can we try and keep the skirmishing over past events to the other threads?

No news yet on the teams though both should be predictable.

Bookies odds are $3.25 for an Aussie win, $3.20 for an Indian win (last time I looked) so the bookies don't think there is much in it.

BTW, I think Indians are highly unprepared and the big 5 I think are very pissed off and this can mean extreme results.

Kirsten seems useless and ineffective as a coach. Understandably so. how can the big 5 look upto him when they are actually more senior than Kirsten. Kirsten has zero experience as coach or next to zero. He is learning coaching at the highest level for the biggest team on the job. Allan donald would have been a better choice for that matter. All his statements in media are corporatish. I think he is no good. Since the beginning he has been trying to get rid of big 5. Its not his job!

Let the battle begin shortly. India can win the match in under 2 days providing there is no rain. But I will go with winning it inside 3 days. GO INDIA....

HA HA HA, this aint funny ok. Thats only possible in a one day or 20/20 game.

But possible if they dig up holes all over the pitch.... A Batsman would be lucky to make 10 on that...
 
Historically, Bangalore isn't one of the Indian teams favoured grounds, so this might be the best chance the Aussies have of starting well and making India play catch up.

But my bet, I think the team winning the toss will win this one.

You know what you're so right, I only watch while Viru is there because we know who comes at 3. Then I use to stop watching until Jaffer and Dravid made 25 off 2000 balls and as soon as they went, I use to switch the tele back on.

I so hope Viru means the next person to retire after this series is Dravid. It will the best day of my life. Free us from that boredom.

This is no great Australian team.

S.A would whip them. Lucky they are playign a talentless indian side that is as old as it is untalented. So they might stand a chance.

Yeah SA Africa would whip them, but they tend to choke when the pressure is on and fold and end up getting flogged. Come back when you actually do win a game against australia instead of just thinking you can.
 
Seriously , if Australia put this side on the field there would be no sense of awe or pressure...the S.a team would have zero respect for this bunch of nobodies.

But can India beat them without pitch doctoring and winning the toss ? Nope. Too old. Too useless.

What will happen is that SA will get the Aussies down and just about out.
With 100 runs too win and 8-9 wickets in hand.
Then SA will think they are in a dream and decide to wake up and do the world famous SA choker dance

Yes we found out what happens when SA have no respect for Australia when Smith declared he was not scared of them and would beat them. I agree SA are very good at telling everyone how they can beat Australia but talk is cheap.

lol at Gavaskar trying to cover it up but in the series over here the Aussie commentators weren't afraid to say something if their was a bad decision against India.

Hey Dance has had his fair share of good decision in the past, especcially in australia when that imbacile Ruddi Kunt-zen was umpiring. he didint complain then.

now thats its a pakistani umpire making a bad decision, u raise suspicions. why?
