Will Krejza play?

Will Gambhir play and give us a drawn series by forfeit?

Will Clark be dropped?

Australia need to win, India need win or draw to take the Border-FoamingMouthRacist Trophy

Reports are it is flat flat flat pitch which will spin.

Krejza should play... last Test of the series RA.... how does it feel like...all the bantering was all in fun spirit

Mmmm it will be a while before we face the evil empire again, will be strange in a way.

As to how it feels? Depends if we win this match or not :D I don't think we will though.

India have been the better team in this series, we have been pretty poor in comparison. But this series has not hit the heights of previous series between the 2 teams, has been a pretty dull affair.

yep..it will be fun..hopefully it shouldnt be a draw... alright enuff of friendship,India shud win and destroy Australian team :D

Sorry to be a kill joy but its a dull boring draw. 1-0 BG trophy back to India. case closed, sachs style!

Where can I buy effigy of Ricky Ponting?

We have left out second highest ranked bowler in the world for an off spinner who averages 50 at FC level

Ponting's shown some initiative in going for a regular spinner but was too scared to drop White and weaken his batting. Let us see what his half measures deliver.

Pretty sure they are going to deliver a loss.

But we can still hope......

Comments from Aussies on Cricindia and other sites not very complimentary about the selections decisions.

When was the last time Australia played with only 3 specialist bowlers and 2 all rounders.

8 runs from Brett Lee's first over of garbage - been the same all series

Time to get out of the team Brett

MJ bowls a good bouncer. SRK comments: Terrific delivery thats extremely well delivered :D

Boy, s clark must be happy he is sitting in the shade. there are 11 spectators in the ground and thats the Aussie team.

This pitch is a road....oh well

Good over from MJ there, got the edge but it did not carry.

Consistently quicker than Lee these days and must be said bowling better too.

6.2 Lee to Sehwag, no run, 134.3 kmph back of length delivery, just outside off, Sehwag hops to cut to backward point
6.1 Lee to Sehwag, no run, 137.5 kmph - Lee has been slower than Mitch - short of length and around off stump, Sehwag gets on top of the bounce to defend to the off side

Terribly slow for Lee(especially on an Indian speed gun)...Lee getting ready for a long day at the office?

This Indian management remind me of the chelsea team under mourinho. Hope to score one then just defend. BCCI hope to win 1 test than create roads for the rest of the series.

They have all the resources available to be numero uno but this mentality will not help them at all.

have you guys noticed how good this stadium looks? Im surprised, the facilities look top notch; looks like BCCI isnt wasting all that money

RA:

2.2 Lee to Vijay, 3 runs, 143.3 kmph full delivery around the off stump, Vijay lunges forward and gets a thickish edge, along the ground and it went through gully. Lee thought it hit the pad and appealed. And it went straight off the bat

That happens sometimes when the bowler 'thinks' the ball hit the pad, in the heat of the moment. after all the pad and bat are so close so many times confusing even the best of umpires and commentators at first glance. they dont have the advantage of TV replays. thats what Anil Kumble had done on last tour once. u have bagged him enough for that. now that Lee has represented the Australian test players in the same act, plz avoid bringing up Kumble and that "appeal" off a four ball.!

7.4 Johnson to Sehwag, FOUR, Ah! the flick from the off stump line. Full, fast and angled across but Sehwag whips it from there and through midwicket.

Goes to show how flat the pitch is. 8 th over of the morning and the ball is whipped from outside off through midwicket.

are you watching this game? or just reading cricinfo commentary. that ball was a left arm fast bowler to a right hand batsman, angled across, pitched on leg and might've hit off. there was no extravagant flick needed for that ball. Dont judge the pitch yet, it is literally 8 overs old :)

Looks great, pity there is nobody there watching

Australia don't really do their chances much good by playing a side loaded with batsmen and not enough attacking options.

Brett Lee getting us off to an awful start again.

I look forward to the excuses forthcoming from the "superstar" :po:

I think this pitch might turn for some reason. both teams are well equipped in this department, I think.

Krezja getting a tough introduction to cricket

Well when the opposition are 0/60 off 12 overs on the first morning it is not a good time to be a debutant spinner....

Vijay has looked good.

Haddin's drop was no edge btw, bat hit the ground. Haddin's spot is not safe either, he has been poor this series.

Mark my words

Krejza will have a good test match.

Already looks a lot better than he did in the tour game, much more dangerous. Just depends whether he can survive the initial attack.

He should take it as compliment they don't even bother attacking White

I sence a wicket coming up ... batsmen seem like they are forcing the boundaries.

Boy there is going to be a lot of whining after this test match by the aussies if the ball turns

seems like Krejza should have played all 4 test matches

White on the other hand tried to spin a cricket ball for 15 days straight and badly failed.

Australia is badly missing Stuart Clark. He is the best bowler in the Australian side. The way he restricts the runs and increases pressure on the opposition is simply incredible.

Poor Kreza. not only he is debuting against India on a flat track, the batsman he is bowling to is Sehwag. its like david vs goliath

I think its Ponting's fault, he is just a terrible capitan.

That is a very clever comment considering he does not pick the team.

And that he has the highest winning percentage of any captain in the history of cricket. Can't be that bad lol.

More runs off Krejza, not bowling that badly but Sehwag is hammering him.
Aussies have to get him out before lunch else he will realy humiliate and humble them.

Pretty much the story every time Sehwag bats though....

This is going to be something new for you guys RA, Aussies will look like a club side in this Indian innings.

RA are you Craig by any chance? Your comments sounds similar to an email from someone on cricinfo.

Nah I am old enough to remember when we were really bad. My first cricket memories are of Australia being humiliated at home in the 80's.

Watson has a nice bouncer actually.

Watson!!!!

we are in no hurry.
Should score at least half a thousand this time round as well.

Sehwag just bored he hasn't scored a century so far n the series has he ?

No not me, I only email them to complain about the bias in their commentary.

Which they have addressed thankfully.

And there it is ... I think Sehwag might slow it down a bit now.

damn vijay goes...
We needed a hundred run opening partnership.

Anyway on;y 402 more runs to go

Sweet run rate about to come down a lot, Dravid in

We are behind on the over rate yet again

well wht else could u expect from india when they r 1-0 up in the series

one of the flattest pitch in all indian pitches
