It's time for Pietersen to stand out and Strauss to prove he can play in conditions not ideal for his style of batting. Ditto Flintoff.

no way gasher,ol straussys gonna unleash those cuts on the bacha pathan!

that sreesanth movement not there yet. Interesting to see if he troubles the lefties.

Botham is the speaking clock. Show some emotion for gods sake.

Sounds like he's given up even before the tests have begin fully....So no 3-0 predictions this time :16:

I'm liking this. Good confident batting out there from these 2.

Pathan is skiding the ball on this pitch. It's keeping too low for my liking.

haha man all the newbies come to the forum and they want illegal streaming links...

Nan pp is a clean and professional discussional forum...there are no stream links here...

Cook is such a classy player. Gower-esque already. Time to give Kumble a bowl i say.

It's too early for him to come in now....Excellent fielding by Kaif, saved a 4 for sure......

normally i dont do this, but there is a joker on icf , and Lord knows this was an eventuality, he made a thread which basically implied that whoever wins this test series between england and india will be the unoffecial number 2 ranked team, incidently both these teams have lost to pakistan, how conveniently was this forgotten eh.

Irfy baby slip a half volley under the tree, for me, been an awful good boy,

a bit of pace there from Ifran. I think he actually tries to bowl slow at times for swing.

It's pretty straight though, and the ball isn't really swinging, and coming nicely onto the bat...

I have to say this Cook fella looks pretty composed and calm for his first test....

The mikes just picked up Rahul saying that Strauss hits the ball very hard :10:

Pathan is hoping for the swing and it isn't there. Worse of all Strauss is expecting the swing and playing these dodgy forward pushes. As i speak though he hits a 4 from it :))). shows what i know.

:))) Well I think he was decieved by lack of swing, and smacked it on the legside

Indian fast bowlers. Subject of the day

An Oxymoron :D....Ha ha Srinath trying to explain upcoming Indian trudlers and difficult time explaining the up and comers because they have none..

India need the spinners on. These two opening bowlers are bowling crap. All they're doing is just creating rough for Bhajji at Pathan's end and rough for Kumble's leggies at Sreesanth's end.

oh no. That was plumb. Very lucky there. Pitched outside though.

doosra. Very well bowled. Inside edge though.

It looks like it hit pad first and was going over the stumps...Good ball nonetheless...Pathan the trudler on.....

It was fractionally outside, and may have gone over the stumps or hit them, but i don't it was plumb.....

Got a feeling a wicket will come now. The runs are slowing up. Bad signs.

Easy there, you seem to be worse than AJ in terms of negativity sometimes, have some faith in your English cricketers will ya :P

Quote of the day so far by Indian fielder: "T-shirt ke aandar chala jata hain"...Translation "Something goes into the t-shirt" :10:
