MUMBAI (Dunya News) - Indian extremists belonging to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) stormed into fashion brand Zara’s showroom in Mumbai and threw away clothes bearing Made in Pakistan tags.

"We have information about a few more stores in Mumbai that sell Pakistani goods. In next few days, we will target more such stores selling Pakistani goods," said Rita Gupta, MNS’s general Secretary, adding that all the shop owners have been directed not to sell Pakistani brands.

BJP leader and fashion designer Shaina NC called this action as a desperate move to grab headlines.

"Some parties are trying to use the sentiments to revive their fortunes. But, whatever they have done at the Zara store is nothing, but hooliganism. No one has the right to take law into their hands," Shaina said.

After the Uri incident, MNS had threatened Pakistani artists and even went on to stop the release of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that starred Pakistani artist Fawad Khan.

Speaking to Dunya News, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakariya expressed concern over rising incidents of intolerance in India. He said there is no chance of improvement in ties due to India’s negative attitude.

The spokesperson highlighted that everyone could see how India is treating its minorities.

From when Pakistan became entire world?

Apparently for India, Pakistan is their world. Your influential politician keep telling every Muslim to go to Pakistan whenever they praise Pakistan or sell made in Pakistan.

they are asking ? or Vandalising ?

Jadhav's death sentence: MNS wants Zarashowroom in Mumbai to stop selling clothes made in Pak

Another report

Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers on Tuesday stormed into fashion brand Zara's showroom in Lower Parel and threw away clothes bearing Made in Pakistan tags.
The party says this is their way to protest against the decision of a Pakistani court to sentence Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav to death.

Throwing away few clothes is not considered as vandalisation as per Indian standards but there is no point in defending such uncivilised acts.

The joke is that Indian's on this site keep telling us that their people are not obsessed with Pakistan:mv Can't remember the last time I heard of Pakistanis burning Indian products on our streets. We are nowhere near as obsessed about them as they are about us. I think it is frustration on their part that Pakistan still stands comfortably on the world map despite so many attempts by them to create civil a war scenario. They are to stupid to understand that the damage done in such cases is to India, not Pakistan:)) We hear of such anti Pak related events in India every day, I am used to it.

What about when Indians like Kulbushan are murdering Pakistanis? I don't see Pakistanis burning anything Indian on our streets even after Kulbushan has been convicted. What has burning clothes or any product from the enemy country got to do with innocent people being killed by supposed terrorists from the other side? It is not the terrorists who made these products. Obsession is that it happens only on your side, not ours. We also have many grievances of our own as well in regards to India.

Lol go to any Zara in Canada and half the items are made in Pakistan. These Hindu extremists have their work cut out in stopping Zara from purchasing Pakistani items.

No proper evidence in Kulbhushan case.

Regarding Pakistanis not burning anything they no longer care as it's buseness as usual.

Lol , if we want we can kick Zara itself out :))

I am not supporting any boycott but just saying there are ways if some one wanted.

There is a difference between a boycott and what Sena thugs do.This is a result of what happened all those years under Bal Thackeray the Miandad loving don.

Not sure if that's factually correct or atleast wasn't untill a year ago not sure how it is now.

Kicking out international brands for petty reasons, a great message it'll send to the business world from apparently a 'business minded PM'. :))

Tomato again living upto his username.

Its just a random reply to random post.

The monthly dose of MNS nationalism.. Nothing new here everyone is used to it, BJP can talk all they want but can't take action?? This sort of parties will keep being in relevance till they get somewhat support in the public..

Well I exaggerated the half part, but quite a few items are made in Pakistan. I went this weekend and there was an entire section of men's pants/jeans that was made in Pakistan.

I hope things never go down to this level in Pakistan, we need to increase trade if antyhing but this is actually taking things to a whole new level.

H&M should protect it's stores as well as few of their products are made in Pakistan as well.

Haha..... a company of 20 billion$ revenue will care about measly Indian market to change whole manufacturing out of Pakistan :)))

Majority of Indians will buy thrown away Zara clothes......... Not new ones :)))

In England we get a lot of Indian TV channels, quite a few for free and anytime I flick through and there's a news item, 99% of it is about Pakistan and/or Muslims. What is the obsession exactly?

KARACHI: Simply but aptly titled “The mysterious Mr Jadhav”, well-known journalist Karan Thapar has written a hard-hitting article about the Indian spy who has been sentenced to death by a military tribunal in Pakistan.

Karan Thapar
Karan Thapar
The sub-head coined for the piece — published on Friday on the website of the Indian Express — was equally instructive in that it succinctly summed up what kind of an article it was. This standfirst said: “The case of the Indian sentenced in Pakistan offers more questions than answers.”

Mr Thapar said he was intrigued by Kulbhushan Jadhav’s story. So he began reading about it, but the more he read about it the more he became confused. “Alas, all I’ve ended up with is questions. The more I learn, the more they multiply,” he wrote.

The first thing that troubled the Indian journalist was why Jadhav had two passports, one in his own name and the other one in the name of Hussein Mubarak Patel.

“According to the Indian Express, the second passport was originally issued in 2003 and renewed in 2014. The passport numbers are E6934766 and L9630722,” he wrote.

When the journalist contacted the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), he was told that the answer could be obtained only if Indian officials managed to gain access to Jadhav. Mr Thapar responded to the suggestion by writing: “But why not check the records attached to the passport numbers? Surely they would tell a story?”

The Indian government claimed that Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran and forcibly brought to Balochistan. Mr Thapar said that New Delhi did pursue the matter with Iran. “But, as the MEA spokesperson admitted, they don’t seem to have responded or, perhaps, even conducted an investigation yet. We seem to have accepted that. Odd, wouldn’t you say?”

The Indian journalist went on to ask what was so special about Jadhav that only he was kidnapped by the Pakistani sleuths and not any other Indian living in Iran. “After all, there are 4,000 Indians in Iran — and no one else has been abducted.”

The Indian journalist quoted A.S. Dulat, a former chief of RAW, as saying unhesitatingly that Jadhav could be a spy. “As he put it, if he was the government, he would hardly admit it,” he wrote.

Turning to the disappearance of Lt Col Mohammad Habib in Nepal, the Indian journalist said: “Was Jadhav convicted and sentenced to pre-empt India from claiming it had caught a Pakistani spy? And now, is an exchange of ‘spies’ possible?”

Let be clear, as long as Jadhav is in Pakistn's custody, India will not claim him as a state sponsored terrorist. and if you believe otherwise then you need to get your patriotic head examined.

No proper evidence regarding Pak terrorism in India either. No reason why we should believe you when you don't do us. What business as usual? We are not obsessed in burning things like you are.

actually theres tons of evidence in the yadav case..operational evidence..and the fact 13 indians got wiped out by the MOAB should also be indicative of RAWS involvement in terror in the region.

This is laughable article.ZARA is not a pakistani shop. There is no shop called made in pakistan.LoL.

There is a difference between a boycott and what Sena thugs do.This is a result of what happened all those years under Bal Thackeray the Miandad loving don.

Exactly.Protest all you want. But there is no place for vandalism.

So what ?? Why do these extremist thugs have a say on where clothing is made ?

If you want to ban Zara so be it but it's ridiculous to carry out threats against it being made in Pakistan. It's nothing to do with you.

This thuggish behaviour isn't a new phenomenon and everyone is laughing at the stupidity.

Of course there is tons of evidence of Indian terrorism on a whole in Pakistan. Made in India weapons in Baluchistan and KPK confiscated. Terrorists admitting on camera that they were sponsored by RAW and the India state. Problem is that India and it's people think they are whiter then white! When ISI do the same they cry like babies.

Quite a bit of exaggeration when you say half - Portugal, turkey, India and Bangladesh is right there.

Give any Pakistani to the Indian army for 10 minutes, we will get you video confession from them for JFk, Tupac while reciting gangsters paradise all at the same time. Can't believe an alleged confession done by an army is being touted as evidence. Quite credible how an alleged spy was also carrying his Indian passport

Why should we give you a Pakistani when it's not our job?. Don't give me gangsters in Pak doing all the dirty work without Indian involvement when your weapons have been seized many times! They are genuine brainwashed people from which many have seen sense and given up fighting. India was using the poor in Baluchistan to fight against the state that is well documented. If you have a problem with us picking up your terrorist from Iran then take it up with them asking how did you let it happen? Kulbushan was caught red handed in Pakistan, we don't have to pove anything to you. The court decides not India!

Pakistanis dont mean everyone.

It has got everything to do with India.Indians can very well protest againist selling anything made by any foreign country in India, for eg. Pakistan. Vandalism is not the way though.
