CHANDIGARH: The Canadian Police has arrested a Punjabi-origin man on charges of abduction and rape of three women.

The accused has been identified as Arshdeep Singh, a 22-year-old man from Brampton. He was charged with kidnapping, sexual assault and robbery.

The Peel Regional Police in a statement said that on November 8 at approximately 7 am, a woman was waiting at a bus stop in the area of countryside drive and Bramalea Road in the city of Brampton when a black 4-door sedan approached the victim. Terrible.

The Khalistanis are a menace, the quicker the Canadian government places immigration filters on them the better, a case should be opened up as to what his qualifications were when he entered Canada and how is it being allowed.

Very poor quality immigrants coming to Canada , sad to see this impotent Government.

These Khalistani immigrants from Canada have been coming from years, the entire BC crime gang is run by them yet you would see the entire Canadian Liberal and leftist Politicians doing nothing about it.
All Canada has to do is genuinely verify their credentials.. except these others would easily be genuine.

Lock him up in jail for a long period if the allegations are proven to be true.

Surprised that two neighboring countries (USA and Canada) have been intaking different breeds of immigrants. One gets the creme de la creme and the other gets riff raff.

@Aang_The_last_airbender you have reacted angrily but we live in a dangerous world and it is a sad truth that women must be taught to have their defenses up at all times against these type of men.

I wish we lived in societies where this wasn't the case.

But in many parts of the world I would recommend women should remain alert, away from strangers, learn self defence , never enter any form of isolation with a stranger and carry pepper sprays etc.

There is no mention of him being a Khalistani. If anything the lack of turban and beard would mark him out to be an secular Indian.

Suddenly this Khalistani has become Indian origin man?

Someone tell this east Pakistani that Punjabis live on both sides of the border.

Since there is no country called "Khalistan" currently, the person is an Indian.

Also, the article itself called the person an "indian-origin" man.

There is no mention of him being a Khalistani. If anything the lack of turban and beard would mark him out to be an secular Indian.

Exactly.

If I am not wrong, Khalistanis are very religious and they all wear turbans and stuff. Not sure if this guy subscribes to Khalistani movement.

The headline is from Indianexpress. There is no mention of Khalistani.

For 10 years you've insisting there is no Khalistan but suddenly now there is?

Btw rape is a rampant in India, its normal so this isnt surprising.

Six Indian-origin men of Canada vehicle-theft gang arrested in major bust

At least six Indian-origin men were arrested in a crackdown on stolen vehicle trafficking. Peel Regional police, in the operation Project Odyssey, arrested 16 people, including six Indian-origin men, and recovered 369 stolen vehicles worth $33.2 million.

At least six Indian-origin men have been arrested in Canada as part of a major crackdown on stolen vehicle trafficking. Peel Regional Police concluded Project Odyssey, a seven-month investigation that targeted a large-scale network responsible for stealing vehicles, transporting them across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and shipping them out of the Port of Montreal. The operation resulted in the recovery of 369 stolen vehicles, valued at $33.2 million.

The investigation led to the arrest of 16 individuals and the laying of 322 Criminal Code charges.

Among those arrested are Beerpal Singh, 29, Harmeet Singh, 34, Valbir Singh, 49, Guljinder Singh, 29, Gurpreet Dhillon, 41, and Jagmohan Singh, 57.

These men face numerous charges, including trafficking in stolen goods over $5000 and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence. Some also face firearm-related charges.

Canadian police identified a company based in Peel Region that was facilitating the transport of stolen vehicles from a trucking yard in Brampton, Ontario.

During the operation, police recovered 369 stolen vehicles valued at $33.2 million, with 255 vehicles found in the Peel Region and 114 recovered at the Port of Montreal.

Additionally, three transport trucks and two bobcats were seized under the forfeiture of offense-related property.

Chief Nishan Duraiappah of Peel Regional Police commended the investigative work of the Commercial Auto Crime Bureau, noting the significant expansion of the unit in 2023.

"In the last 18 months, we have arrested nearly 200 individuals, laid approximately 1,600 auto theft-related charges, and recovered close to $100 million in stolen vehicles," said Duraiappah.

The investigation has also led to the issuance of 10 additional arrest warrants. The families of the arrested individuals are seeking legal counsel as they prepare for the legal proceedings.

Ontario trucker who hauled cartel's cocaine to Canada quietly pleads guilty in the U.S.

The Indian national was on a work permit in Canada when he started hauling loads of drugs, allegedly for a Mafia-linked Montrealer, Mexican cartels and American narcos

Ayush Sharma, 25, was caught red-handed delivering 19 kilos of drugs to a garage in Montreal, a victim of an elaborate undercover operation.

The smuggling ring moved large quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin from Mexico to Los Angeles and then into Canada aboard transport trucks, with one branch feeding Ontario and another Quebec.

When the U.S. Department of Justice unveiled “Operation Dead Hand” in Los Angeles in January, there were 15 people named in two indictments, including five living in Canada.

Sharma was one of them. A Brampton-based commercial truck driver, he was the youngest of those arrested. He faced extradition to the United States for a trial in California.

At a bail hearing in Brampton in February, court weighed allegations by U.S. prosecutors, including that Sharma had made previous drug smuggling trips on behalf of the narcos.

His plea for bail was rejected by Justice David E. Harris. Although Sharma has no previous criminal record, he also has few ties to Canada. He is not a Canadian citizen nor permanent resident.

“The organization that Mr. Sharma allegedly worked for is far-flung and appears to be powerful and with substantial funds at its disposal. He is alleged — albeit without much in the way of specific evidence — to have imported drugs previously on behalf of the organization. Based on the present transaction and on the theory that he has completed other similar transactions, he likely has a good store of funds secreted away,” Harris said when denying Sharma’s bail.

All thanks to great immigrants. You bring in people with murky background and you expect Nadella and Sundar?

This fellow should be given stringent of punishment and set fear in those good for nothing criminals.

Very poor quality immigrants coming to Canada , sad to see this impotent Government.
When the host country does not follow the due process in awarding asylum and citizenship to illegals, these things are bound to happen. Blame should go on globalist woke trash like Trudeau who harbor such people to gain votes.

PS - He may be from India. But does he consider himself Indian? I always have doubts on his types who move to Brampton.

Do you live in Canada? LOL. I don't think you have much clue.

Immigration system and economy were good till about 2018.
Problems kick started since 2001 and 2004.

In 2004, Canada and the US banned the practice of allowing migrants to enter one country on a travel visa and claim refugee status at the border of the other via the Canada-United States Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA). Immigrants trying to seek asylum status in US by going to Canada got stuck in Canada.

He doesn't. You can bet if he was a Khalistani he would be sporting the full turban and beard look. This is a secular Indian, might even be a hindutva many of whom proudly claim to be secular.

Look how desperate these Indian posters are to push the Khalistani angle with not ONE shred of evidence that this Indian origin rapist is anything but just an Indian origin male.

Yeah. It is funny.

Rather than condemning this action, they are trying to deflect this to Khalistani movement.

Sore losers.

Agree.

I am yet to see a Khalistani without the turban or beard. This guy is very likely a secular or a BJP Indian.

Arshdeep Singh is a Sikh name Kaptaan Saab.

He may or may not be a Khalistani. If I have to take a best, he is one of them as he is from Brampton. The types I have seen first hand.

Whether he is a Khalistani or not, he should have never made it to Kanaydda. Trudeau opened the doors for these type of criminals and he is a clear puppet of Jagmeet Singh who is a Khalistani himself.

Agree.

I am yet to see a Khalistani without the turban or beard. This guy is very likely a secular or a BJP Indian.
Many western Sikhs do not wear turban. Khalistani movement is a Punjabi Jatt movement. Some of them do not want anything to do with India and are pretty racist towards rest of Indians. These are the types that are Khalli supporters. They all congregated in Canada due to Trudeau's policies. The true patriot Sikhs are as patriotic towards India as it gets.

Regarding your Turban test for Khalistanis, you have absolutely no clue as usual. I can post tons of pictures of Khalistani supporters from Canada who do not wear turbans. But then again, you will say that they are RSS supporters posing as Khallis. :dw

Hindutva stepping up a gear. Remember this cult feels their OG terrorist leader has legitimised their violent retribution against all mankind, especially women.

You do not need to look further than India to see how women are treated in 'Incredible' India.

There is no mention of him being a Khalistani. If anything the lack of turban and beard would mark him out to be an secular Indian.
Not really.. the BC khalistani gangsters esp the aides of Nijjar don’t wear turban.

Agree.

I am yet to see a Khalistani without the turban or beard. This guy is very likely a secular or a BJP Indian.
They are mostly frauds who change their agenda and identities based on headlines.

A khalistani doesn't need a turban, just like a Hindutva terrorist doesn't need a saffron lungi.

Lol...I first thought it was mentioned in OP, but how did you know he was Khalistani? So you think if I Canadian Sikh commits crime then he is Khalistani otherwise a proud Indian🤔

It is not strange. According to to the constitution if Hindutva, one cannot be accepted as Indian unless one is rich and bleeds saffron.

To be fair though the Hindutva cult on PP and social media, are not Indians at all, they are simply rejects - rejected from their home, country, and warped ideology, Hindutva. They only shout Saffron for the attention.

Still, Hindutva is the enemy of the state, and every member of this vile cult must be made an example of.

How's our Hindutva MP who changed his name to Keith Vas? Hahahaha. Not all villains wear masks! Hahahahaha

When Have I called Canadian Indian as proud Indian? Indians even ridicule Akshay Kumar for accepting their citizenship.

I used to be a Canadian Pr holder for a long tome so i know the Khalistani type, I’ll quote the legendary @sweep_shot if you haven’t lived there you can’t comment.

Arsh ***** is the second biggest Khalistani name today he doesn’t wear a turban, clearly Pakistanis are clueless about who are Khalistanis, these guys even smoke which is prohibited in Sikhism.

sweeping generalisation? Are you sure you want to go there as that’s what you did when you said-that I call Canadian Indians are proud Indians and that’s the least generalisation, there are 100 generalisations of Indians on this forum, you will get tired if i start quoting u on those.

You have to be Indian first, love the country, follow its laws, put it above your personal faith and not work to undermine it. Hindutva is nationalistic.

Calling Hindutva the enemy of state is like calling nationalist an enemy of nation:vk2

No I have seen a general trend here that Indian posters eulogize Indian foreigners with great achievements be it Google ceo or vivik Ramaswamy type characters.

Lol like entire Pakistanis take credit for good Muslims?

Lol Shah is a venerated Muslim name so that makes Amit Shah Muslim too?
Shah is a persian name. Its Sanskrit equivalent is Ksha(Kshatriya). Both means ruler or king. So don't be too quick in associating names to religion.

Likewise, Shah-en-Shah is Kshatriya-Kshatruya. Which means King of kings aka Emperor.

There are Muslim names like Jamshed which is Persian and Sanskrit. Which relates to the Lord of Death - Yama.
Jamshed(Persian) = Yama Shesha(Sanskrit) = Lord of Death.

B.C. truck driver sentenced to 15 years for drug smuggling flees to India

A B.C. truck driver who was sentenced to 15 years in jail for smuggling a significant amount of drugs into Canada has fled to India.

In a press release issued Wednesday morning, RCMP say Raj Kumar Mehmi, a 60-year-old from Surrey with dual nationality, was caught hauling 80 kilograms of cocaine.

The 80 bricks, hidden inside Mehmi’s semi-trailer truck but discovered by Canada Border Services Agency officers, were valued at $3.2 million.

After being arrested at the Pacific Highway border crossing in November 2017, Mehmi was sentenced earlier this year to 15 years in prison. His charges: importing drugs and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police say Mehmi was found guilty on Sept. 6, 2022, and that a sentencing hearing was set for Jan. 9, 2023. However, they say Mehmi fled to India on Oct. 11, having boarded a flight from Vancouver and arriving in New Delhi the next day.

“Since Mehmi failed to appear for his sentencing hearing, an application to sentence him in absentia was filed, and subsequently granted, on September 15, 2023,” said RCMP, who are requesting the public’s help in locating Mehmi.

On Nov. 16, a judge sentenced Mehmi, in absentia, to nine years for importing drugs and six years for possession for the purpose of trafficking. He was also handed a lifetime ban on firearms and prohibited weapons, and was also issued a forfeiture order and a DNA order.

“The criminal conviction resulting from this significant drug seizure is a clear demonstration of the CBSA-RCMP Joint Border Strategy’s effectiveness in keeping our border secure,” said RCMP Supt. Bert Ferreira. “It also highlights the ongoing collaboration between our agencies, and the shared dedication and commitment of our officers, to protecting Canadians from the significant threats posed by transnational organized crime.”

A CBSA director, Holly Stoner, added “Our officers are the first line of defence in keeping illicit drugs from crossing Canada’s borders and we are proud to work with the RCMP to ensure those who break our laws are held accountable.”

Police say Mehmi’s passport was seized when he was initially arrested, but that he successfully applied for a second passport – which police say they have no jurisdiction over.

RCMP say they can only step in when someone is deemed a flight risk, noting it seems prosecutors didn’t deem him a flight risk.

They also said Mehmi travelled between being arrested and before being found guilty, adding he fled after being found guilty but before his sentencing date.

Global News reached out to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for more information and received a reply on Thursday.

“When Mr. Mehmi was charged with the drug offences of which he was convicted, he was issued a summons,” the Public Prosecution Service of Canada told Global News in an email.

“He attended court as required, including throughout trial. The Crown did not seek Mr Mehmi’s detention after his conviction and pending his sentencing hearing.”

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Mehmi, with RCMP saying a worldwide Interpol notice is being sought as well.

Brampton truck driver Sukhwinder Dhanju charged for trying to transport cocaine worth $4.86 million into Canada

35-year-old Indian-origin commercial truck driver has been charged after he was caught by the authorities while trying to transport cocaine worth approximately C$6.5 million ($4.86 million) into Canada.

Sukhwinder Dhanju was arrested by the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) on September 26 last year after he arrived at the primary inspection booth at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge port of entry in Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario province.

The driver was referred for secondary examination of his truck and trailer, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said in a release issued on Wednesday.

An inspection of the cargo led to the discovery of 202 brick-shaped objects which tested positive for cocaine, and had a total weight of 233 kg.

Dhanju was then arrested by the CBSA, and transferred to the custody of the RCMP Border Integrity Unit, along with the suspected drugs.

Following a “thorough investigation”, the RCMP, on December 19 last year, charged Brampton resident Dhanju, with importation of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

“The RCMP and the CBSA once again, through a joint effort, demonstrated continued commitment in working together to effectively disrupt the drug trade,” sais Superintendent Rae Bolsterli, Officer in Charge, RCMP Border Integrity Program.

According to the release, Dhanju has been released with strict conditions, and his next court date is scheduled for February 2 at St Catharines in Ontario.

Last month, another Indian-origin commercial truck driver was charged after authorities seized more than 100 pounds of suspected cocaine in Ontario.

Manpreet Singh (27) was taken into custody by officers of the RCMP and formally charged with importation of cocaine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Both Dhanju and Singh are residents of Brampton city.

In December 2023, a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued against an elderly Sikh truck driver who fled to India after he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for drug trafficking.

Raj Kumar Mehmi from Surrey was sentenced in November last year for smuggling 80 kg of cocaine into British Columbia, through the Canada-US Pacific Highway border crossing.

From January to October 31, 2023, the CBSA in the Southern Ontario region reportedly seized more than 1,300 kg of narcotics.

Khalistani or not, they came to Canada using an Indian passport.

Calling them “khalistani” doesn’t change the fact that they are of Indian origin and most probably still have Indian citizenship with Canadian PR.

Which is literally Nijjar and Arsh Dal la, GOI has been shouting from rooftop about them.. yet everyone had the audacity to inform India otherwise.

They were born and brought up there..this is the bed Canadian Liberals and leftist made , you can’t escape it, considering they had enough evidence in BC from 1990s.

Indeed.

Some of these Indians act like Indians can do no crime. Khalistanis are Indians too.

India is the only country in the world where one has commited a crime by simply being born into the wrong caste or sex.

Hindutva cult mindset.
Huh! What?

If you are talking about caste discrimination, it is illegal and punishable by law. Low caste people and Dalits get reservations and freebies from government.
How is there sexual discrimination? There is women reservation in India too. Women are in work force in all areas. Sure there are perverts and rapists. It’s no different from any other country.

Now let’s talk about Pakistan. Minorities are treated like trash and there is systemic discrimination at every level. Any reservations for minorities and oppressed communities?
Women are treated badly and are severely underrepresented in the work force. Any reservations for them?

I will wait for your answer.😙

Trudeau does not want to deport them back to India. In fact India has a list of these criminals which they have submitted to Canada years ago. Canada did nothing and ignored.

Now when these criminals do what they do in Canada, suddenly it is India’s fault. 🙄

My family has been here for over 50 years.

The latest batch of Indian immigrants and/or international students is disgraceful. Forget everyone else, even Indo-Canadians who have been here for generations find these individuals to be unacceptable.

The Canadian government has made significant mistakes over the past 5 or so years.

Most of these illegal Panjus in Canada are innocent Electricians and Plumbers according to Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh.

Regarding international students from India, they are going there knowing that the situation is very bad when it comes to housing and jobs. Yet Canada keeps giving visas to thousands every year.

Indian government has warned the prospective students to choose Canada to pursue higher education. The gullible still keep going. Canada keeps giving visas as these students spends thousands of dollars in Canada for their education. Greed is on both sides.

No doubt the Canadian government is at fault.

I think the biggest joke is they could have easily predicted this before it got bad. In fact, most of us could have told them this would happen, especially with those mall colleges they were passing off as legitimate.

Trudeau pretty much destroyed his chances of winning with such decision-making.

Not 5 years but 8 years, I can tell you exactly when they relaxed every rule.

You're right, it's pretty much been around that time.

Being a high-trust society cannot mean they make decisions like the ones they have over the past 8 years. Just terrible.

Flight Air India 182 was the biggest terrorist attack before 9/11. It was carried out by Indians. Fact.

It is our duty to inform the public of pre 2014 India and what Saffron India really stands for.
