When: Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals, October 19, 2020, 7:30 PM IST

Where: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

What to expect: Abu Dhabi has embraced the quick bowlers like no other venue this IPL. There's value for express pace, and Mumbai Indians have benefitted the most from it - winning five of their six games there.

A big Jofra Archer challenge awaits Sam Curran. The move to open with Curran showed promise in the first attempt - against SRH - but Mumbai Indians' Tushar Deshpande was able to hurry the left-hander into a false stroke with a sharp bouncer in the very first over. Expect Archer to do no less.

Rajasthan Royals Squad: Robin Uthappa, Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson(w), Steven Smith(c), Jos Buttler, Rahul Tewatia, Jofra Archer, Riyan Parag, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, Kartik Tyagi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Akash Singh, Anuj Rawat, Mayank Markande, Oshane Thomas, Mahipal Lomror, Shashank Singh, Andrew Tye, Tom Curran, Ankit Rajpoot, Manan Vohra, Aniruddha Joshi, David Miller, Varun Aaron

MS Dhoni V/s Jaydev Unadkat
Sanju Samson V/s Shardul Thakur

Weakest CSK side ever! Perhaps this is the first time they look like missing out on qualifying to knockouts!

This is 2020 brother. Expect the unexpected.

RCB winning the title is expected or unexcepted? (I think both are true in some ways!)

But I guess one out of DC, KXIP, RCB have chance to win this time (who have never won before). I am confident that all three will qualify to playoffs with their current form! (KXIP have it tough, but they are in good shape & red hot currently). So the probability of a new emperor is very much likely (I hope MI don't spoil it again!)

I am a CSK fan . I can tell you we are the most boring team. So one paced in the batting and the bowling has no stars other than Hazelwood who we don't even use.

I hope we make major changes next season. Cannot take another season of keep a majority of the same players.

First player in IPL to...
50 matches - Raina & Badrinath
100 matches - Raina
150 matches - Raina
200 matches - DHONI

31 for 3 after 5 overs

Ideal situation for Smith here to guide the team to win , required rate is well under control

Butler is a crucial wicket , if CSK get him in next 3 overs they have a chance to claw back here

Buttler Playing on Different Pitch or Smith making it look like difficult?

CSK look awful.

They look like a team past their sell by date.

Buttler saw off Hazelwood and Chahar, then took apart the rest of the attack with ease. What a player .

CSK and Sunrisers are absolutely terrible. You could dissolve these two franchises to make one and still they wouldn’t be better than MI or DC

CSK can only get to 14 points . Unless the current top 4 collapse epically, we are out of the running for the play offs.

SRH have won the IPL and have regularly reached the play offs. They are a good team but had a bad year. CSK just have too many old players.

Dhoni Post match:

"Maybe we didn't have see as much spark from some of our youngsters. Maybe going forward we bring them in and they play without pressure"

Ridiculous
Youngsters didn't get enough chances. Both RutRaj and Jagadeeshan were sitting on bench most of the times.

CSK have proved why this year is 2020 :yk. Now time for RCB to prove the same.

Dhoni a bit harsh on the younger players post match.

Perhaps he should look at his own performances.

Really really disheartening to hear MS talking about no spark in youngsters in the squad. Jagadeeshan showed more intent in one match and even scored much better than Jadhav in whole tournament including this match. I never thought I would hear such words from Dhoni the leader.

CSK look like a team of elderly gents past their best.

Why are you surprised though? Lol. Dobi has always been a scummy guy* tbh.
Don't know why people overrate him.

Yea he used to be good in odi and T20. he used to groom players but he always picks his favourites over many other more deserving players. he has always been like that but everyone is too scared to ask him questions regarding his selections or else they will get fired.

I think Kohli is much better, he at least likes & backs the players who are already selected on merit (by the selectors) when they perform well...
