After bowling so poorly against KKR in the last game, who asked this buffoon Iyer to bowl first again?

Pant is either shell shocked or looks severely down on confidence due to being dropped by India.

What an innings by Saha.. I said it'd be better he comes as an opener and Bairstow at 5 to strengthen weak batting..

Man that was some knock.

Never understood why he doesn't do this consistently with the bat. Surely an under achiever.

This would've been my ideal XI before Bhuvi injured..

He's not a power hitter.. He's done well consistently when open the innings.. He scored century and win the trophy for CSK while chasing as an opener too..

I'm pretty sure it was Punjab and they ended up losing that final. :)

I am sure in some IPL final (or eliminator) Saha made a hundred or close to it as opener, in MoM performance; therefore he is not a novice with bat for sure, particularly on wickets with less bounce & pace.

Lol my bad then.. Just see the score he didn't open the innings either 😝.. Anyway I think he has given good start for SRH in the past when he used as opener..

Wow Goswami is still around.. Think he was the emerging player in IPL 1st season..

Don't think DC can chase this. Might have been possible vs RCB but this is SRH. Want a close contest though.

Highest totals for SRH in IPL

231/2 vs RCB Hyderabad 2019
219/2 vs DC Dubai 2020 *
212/6 vs KXIP Hyderabad 2019

Highest totals in IPL 2020

228/4 DC vs KKR Sharjah
226/6 RR vs KXIP Sharjah
223/2 KXIP vs RR Sharjah
219/2 SRH vs DC Dubai

Delhi is the powerhouse of fat short players.

Shaw, Pant, Hetmyer.

Shreevats Goswami to replace Wriddhiman Saha as the substitute wicketkeeper. Saha is injured.

David Warner, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack :ua

11.6 Warner to Pant, 1 run, to long-off
11.6 Warner to Pant, wide, down the leg-side, a swat, and a miss, wide called..

David Warner bowling in IPL history for the first time and nearly got Pant. It could have been a perfect birthday for him.

What a spell King Khan Rashid!!!!!!!

17 dot balls by Rashid Khan in 4-over spell vs DC by giving just 7 runs and took 3 wickets.

Mitch Marsh, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Kane Williamson and now Wriddhiman Saha & Vijay Shankar. It's been a horrific set of injuries for SRH. And they're still competing.

This weekend all the top 3 teams, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and RCB had 14 points and could've qualified with a win, but all the 3 teams failed to win a game.

Pant need to improve a lot on his fitness. He can hit them well though but that level of fitness will restrict his hitting ability a lot.

SRH 219/2 (20)

DC 131 (19)

Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 88 runs

The umpire during the IPL 2020 clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC), has sparked controversy after seemingly influencing SRH captain David Warner not to review a decision in the field.

The incident occurred in the 17th over of the chase, when DC were labouring at 104-8, well off their target of 220. Sandeep Sharma, the SRH quick, sent in a full delivery to the batsman R Ashwin, who attempted to flick the delivery, and was struck on the pads. Sharma and the SRH fielders in the vicinity immediately appealed, but the shout was turned down. It was at this moment that Chaudhary inadvertently sparked controversy.
