International Catching Standards

Is it me or overall catching standards have gone down recently? I have seen many during the Ind-Aus series, Asia Cup, Pak-eng series and now Windies-Aus series. What is going on out there?

Some of the catching has been atrocious lately. Both AUS and WI dropped sitters, as did PAK (although that's not news) and ENG recently.

Not sure if its the pressure situations, Windies were better than Aussies but then in crunch moments they started dropping sitters too

Are there as many great fielders out there as there was in previous eras?

Not many Jonty Rhodes out there I guess.

Haider Ali and Asif Ali tbh have been brilliant for Pakistan on the boundary

They are not doing well with the bat but they are not letting the team down in the field

Second-string India playing SA these days in the ODIs did drop 4-5 catches in the first game.
