RULES OF INTERNATIONAL CRICKET MANAGER (FANTASY)
These rules must be read, accepted and respected by any persons participating in International Cricket Manager (ICM).
1 – ICM CONCEPT AND FORMAT
1.1 – Inception
The current ICM was founded and created by PakPassion moderator [MENTION=40952]Batman[/MENTION] and it's started in September 2015.
2 – ICM CONDUCT
2.1 - Conduct of Managers and Assistant Managers
Managers and Assistant Managers are leaders of the teams. This does not make them immune to following the rules of ICM, nor does it mean they cannot be punished for wrongdoing. Any manager or assistant manager caught breaking rules will be a) removed from manager or assistant manager and b) punished just like any other member, depending on the severity of the situation.
2.2 - General Banter
Friendly banter is encouraged in ICM, however ANY racial, sexual, religious, explicit and/or ethnic remarks stated in a derogatory manner WILL NOT BE TOLERATED at all. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be removed from ICM with immediate effect. Depending on the severity of the situation and judgement of PakPassion forum Administrators/Moderators, the individual could be banned from the forum also.
3 - What is International Cricket Manager?
International Cricket Manager (ICM) is all about leagues of real life players and members are managers to run them in a team. Simply pick a team and manage it for whole tournament and lead them to a glory.
3.1 - Participating in Leagues
If you are new and you are looking to get involved in some leagues, your best approach would be to look for leagues that are new and are looking for members.
It's a tournament based season where one tournament's season ends and other tournament season starts. All kind of league tournaments are available to be part of.
4 - Domestic Leagues
The domestic leagues features Champions League Twenty20, Pakistan Super League (Coming Soon), One Day leagues (Coming Soon), First Class leagues (Coming Soon) etc.
4.1 - Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20)
It's a Twenty20 tournament featuring domestic teams from around the world.
The tournament will first have a double round robin league, 6 top teams from the standings qualify for the playoffs and then the league concludes with a final.
Win: 2 points
Tie: 1 point
Loss: 0 point
4.2 - Oversees Players - Only 4 oversees players allowed to pick in a team.
4.3 - Home Match Thread - Every match will be posted in home team's match thread.
5 - International Leagues
The International leagues features Team tours, Test Championship, World Cup, World Twenty20, Champions Trophy and Asia Cup.
5.1 - International Cricket Manager Career (ICMC)
It's based on Future Tours Programme. International team managers will sit together with other manager to try and arrange series with each other in home and away basis. Series will only go ahead if both managers agreed.
5.1.1 - Roster and Squad Selection - Each team has a roster of 35 players, with 5 players being legend players. For a particular series (test, ODI, T20I) in a tour managers must select a squad of maximum 15 players. There is a maximum of 4 legend players allowed in a squad. Moreover, a maximum of 2 legend players can feature in the playing XI.
6 – TEAMS, ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS
6.1 - Team Selection - One of the key roles of a manager and assistant manager is to name 11 players for every match in the match thread. The only players eligible for selection are those in the team squad of the club. The team must be named using the following template, in batting order:

4) [Real Life Player] (C)
5) [Real Life Player]
6) [Real Life Player] (WK)
7) [Real Life Player]
8) [Real Life Player]
9) [Real Life Player]
10) [Real Life Player]
11) [Real Life Player]
It is not necessary to state who is the captain and wicket-keeper in the team selection but wicket-keeper must play in the line-up otherwise line-up won't be accepted.
Also to note is that a maximum of 2 legend players can feature in the playing XI.
6.2 - Team and Pitch Deadline - Every match will have it's deadline. It's recommend to home team manager and away team manager to post the pitch and team as soon as possible whenever the match thread is up for the next round of matches.
6.3 - Pitch Variations – Managers of the team playing home are also required to post the type of pitch variation they desire. The types of these available will be stated in the match thread.
6.4 - Failure to post a pitch variation - If a manager fails to name the pitch variaton on time then the pitch variation will be used 'Normal'.
6.5 - Failure to post a team - If a manager fails to post a team on time then the team from the previous match will be used with the reverse order.
