I didn't mean with each other. I meant played one match each already. And the other teams have yet to play. Just asked as I don't know the format. No need to get extra sensitive.

4 matches are already done in an 8 team tournament. Rest I leave it to your Maths.
 
No sign of U19 speedsters yet.

KKR seem to trust the abilities of the Legend Vinay Kumar over Mavi or Nagarkoti.

Don't know what teams see in Vinay Kumar. No pace, no variations, no yorkers.. Just bowls gin barrel straight.
 
Gosh! Shardul is playing today. I feel sorry for CSK. The whole squad looks pretty average and unless there's a miraculous innings like Bravo's, it's very difficult for CSK to enter the group stages.

Uthappam is showing his class. Not sure why Manish and Kedar preferred over him by our stupid selectors.

Uthappa chokes at international level against the same bowlers.

Some players simply cannot handle the highest level. But give them the same bowling attack in domestic tournaments, they will play like legends.

To me the likes of Uthappa, Manish Pandey fall in the same category.

Exactly. That is why I prefer Raina over Jadhav.

Raina always either takes a brilliant catch or effects a runout out of no where and turns the game in India's favor. Very underrated.

Not to forget, Raiana can bowl a few overs too and is as good as Jadhav with the ball. Raina is also a proven big hitter at the highest level.

They want Cauvery river water and the solution for that is to throw shoes on Jaddu :))
 
Stupid KkR management. Gill, Mavi and Nagarkoti available, but they picked rinku Singh and viney. Seriously?
 
Who is this guy Rinku Singh? Why was he preferred over Gill? No Mavi/Nagarkoti either. Bizarre selections from KKR.
 
Don't know who this Rinku Singh guy is, but he looks very ordinary.

Why is he playing a head of Shubman Gill is beyond me :facepalm:

Hopefully the likes of Vinay Ko-mar fail and one of Mavi or Nagarkoti gets their chance.

Gill should play the next match for sure. He is being wasted on the bench.

Such a bummer! I was hoping to see them play. I don't see how Vinay Kumar has more to offer than these two. Both of them are capable of bowling 140+ consistently and can bat as well!
 
Ipl not giving chances to youngsters because its more about money and winning than promoting local talent. PSL is about promoting local talent thats why more youngsters get chances and then play for Pak. I feel for indian youngsters like shaw, mavi and nagarkoti

Who the heck wants to see Vinay Kumar run in and bowl 120k bouncers? How will playing Vinay brings in more audience?

I understand if there are better players than the U19 stars. But playing Rinku Singh, Vinay Kumar makes no sense.

Many will tune in to watch Gill or Shaw or Mavi/Nagarkoti bowl. That is where money is made.

This season's IPL just kick started now and i think those people who spends money know better than as

After all their is a reason why those u-19 kids bags crores in their primary auction,so sooner or latter they will get their chances to showcase the talent,its a matter of time
 
Russel is made up to play T-20's

His batting stance itself is very scary to any bowler let alone caribbean muscular power
 
This guy Russell is like a tank - solid. Could have been a pro boxer or sprinter as well.
 
Russell had one of those days. Have not seen him bat like this in a long time. Normally, he is good for a few good blows and throws it away.
 
Thank you Dhoni for your great captaincy. I have no complaints, my second fav team was the beneficiary.

Pretty flat deck,even uthappa was clearing the fence with ease and some one in the likes of vinay kumar in the opposite is a blessing for csk.His routine good length ball's with no speed will be fun to hit here
 
I hope vinay Kumar get hit to all parts and we don’t have to bear the torture anymore.

So it shouldn't be about winning? Also every team has to gain momentum first, there are lot of matches remaining to try new players.

I want kumar smashed, last game was good this time i would like a higher runrate this time around would get this idiot off the team for good.

They have upside and can bowl a mean yorker. That will be a learning curve for an 18/19 yr old bowler.

Vinay can only dream of bowling a 145 yorker.

Would have love to see those guys bowling in this flat deck

This pitch would have been a hard debut for them but somehow very challenging
 
Just for my curiosity - Vinay's FC record is exceptional, and he plays for one of the strongest Ranji side Karnataka (means, a good portion of his wickets are from elite round) and South Zone in Dulip Trophy.

How it's possible?

Wasted career for ICL - he was the Captain of U19 team that played WC in BD 2004 (a team that had Raina & Dhawan as well) and I watched him from VIP stand.

He was a boy wonder, but didn't live up to potential. He is like Manoj Tiwary - supremely stylish and looks so good, but ........
 
Except his odd match winning spell against ausis some months back tom curran is a dud from what i have seen

Only thing i have enjoyed in him is his action has a glimpse of steyn
 
Vinay Kumar is Indian fan's Shehzad.... he is hated by everyone across the board :))
 
KP saying that he played for 3 weeks with Watson in Dubai but not mentioning that it was in the PSL. :rahat1
 
Big problem for KKR right now is Russell has only 1 over left so who bowls the death overs, god save them if Vinay Kumar bowls them.
