Take Munro and short for example.Munro was ranked 1 at the time of auction and he was picked for 1.9Cr while Rookie Short was picked for 4 CR(I know he had great BBL).And Munro already experienced Indian conditions where he scored 100 against India.

I dunno though as Warner has been inspirational for SRH. Been very consistent and has actually behaved himself too. Football is a bit different, as it's a moving game where a single player out of sync can break down play.

IPL shouldn't pay much (any) for foreign batsmen, rather pick 3 foreign bowlers and one hard-hitting all-rounder; domestic batting resources are fine enough for covering that.

Apart from Pant's innings, it was quite an uninspiring performance from DD. Their bowling looked totally nonthreatening. It was a walk in the park for SRH.

Amen, Williamson at least has many fans and support in the Big 4 or Fab 4 comparisons where as Dhawan is ridiculed not only by Pakistanis but his own countrymen for lack of technique, calling him a hack etc.
