SRH may lose both the playoffs, they peaked early & did not find time to cover their loopholes. The gap between their home pitch & other pitches is big. They tried to improve it in the last match & lost it! KKR is red hot at the moment.

CSK & KKR may reach the finals and it can be anybody's game who are good on that day (My prediction - KKR) MI would have fared pretty well if they were in playoffs...

I agree that SRH peaked too early, although I have hardly followed IPL this season but naturally I do hear about it. KKR seem to be on a good run.

True, SRH just seem to have fallen apart in the last couple of games. Their bowling attack, particularly the Indian pacers, have become very pedestrian.
Their batting was always so-so and they were relying mostly on KW for runs.

I pick Chennai to win. Sunrisers have been poor in the last couple of games.

Meanwhile it is only because of CSK that a guy like Harbhajan will get another 1 or 2 years of IPL! He should be thankful for that. That team can turn ordinary guys to decent ones!

The match is started already! SRH is 12/1 in the 1st over... Probably everyone thought its a 8:00 PM IST start! They are making it early (always felt it gets too late in the night), this is a good time.

Ngidi looks pretty good, has that vintage South African Swag...

Yes I know I haven't been following IPL this season but last few games I have as it's getting towards the end of season which is most exciting bit of any league. I'm still not following it religiously but it's on in the background, before I wouldn't even have it on the background while I chilled on the laptop. SRH have lost an early wicket against CSK.

As I said SRH is on the down slide... Too much pressure on Williamson (this time he has additional pressure of playoffs!)

This rubbish still going on!! Could have held a Ind v SL bilateral in between tournament.. cant wait for some proper cricket on Thursday.

Any live streaming link for Ipl please?

In India its only official on Hotstar. You will have to pay 299 per year and get subscription. You could have done that at the start of IPL. You can do it even now if you are interested in other Star Sports/Cricket coverage and of course to catch final actions of IPL.

Not sure about other countries.

Not everyone are forced to watch it. Even International (so-called) will look rubbish if its stretched for 40+ days! You will have to bear with all kind of associate teams with mismatched encounters! You will get such balanced competition with uniformly distributed skills only with such leagues (and of course you need money to drive it & keep players interested)

For those watching live, is the pitch tough to bat on or are sunrisers batting poorly on it?

How can Wankhade be tough for batting? It is just the brain fade of the playoff pressure & CSK (Dhoni captaincy) brilliance!

Looks like this is going to be CSK's glorious trophy after return! (Only KKR can stop them if they are in "ON" mode, and DK is not loyal to his region :)) )

CSK can't win his one. Unless there is some late over heroic which i don't think are gonna happen today.

India needs to be careful in the Test match against Afghans. Their spinners Rashid and Mujeeb are excellent.

not bad loss I guess.. more chance to improve batting before final, SRH..

That's Thala Dhoni's CSK for You haters.. FAF! You beauty! Played one of the best knocks of IPL 2018 under immense pressure. Now that's the way Champions head to Finals of a Tournament. Whistlepodu!!!!

9(18).
He tried his utmost best to gift this game to Hyderabad. Pity Faf had other plans in his mind.

CSK have produced some of the wins from nowhere with magical performances from pretty much everyone- Bravo,Billings, Rayudu, Watson, Dhoni, Jadeja and today Faf.

Congratulations to MS Dhoni for snatch one more game for his side from the jaws of defeat.
What a playa!

Zabardast. What a match. I wasn't expecting faf du plessis to go till the end. That carlos over proved to be the turning point.

CSK pull off another heist, 4th this season. Someone or the other player plays a match winning knock for them out of the blue. If it's KKR vs CSK in the final, I would back KKR otherwise CSK. SRH have been their bunnies this season anyway.

SRH to win this Title..

Lol at giving credit to this overrated captain. Like I said luckiest captain, if not for those two lucky edges his team would have lost this game.

I am not a Dhoni fan but even I have to admit that it is silly to call him a lucky captain at this point.

Somehow his teams, both internationally and in the IPL, keep reaching finals. Purely off results vs talent available, he has a very good shout of being considered the greatest LOI captain ever.

It is pretty ridiculous to call a captain who has won 3 ICC tournaments and IPL trophies as just lucky. I would like to see someone who has been lucky for 12 straight years. That is pretty impossible. He obviously understands the LO game better than lots of people and makes some calculated moves which pays off. Just saying someone has been lucky throughout their careers is undermining their achievements. No one survives in any field just based on luck for that long. They have to be doing something right. Looking at how clueless Virat has been captaining RCB season after season tells us MS has a huge hand in India's ODI success under the former. Even Virat cannot deny that, I feel that is the only reason he still wants MS in the ODI/T20 teams.

He has had great teams as well. Gambhir and Yuvi won him 2007. Nothing from his tactics. Sachin, Gambhir, yuvi, Raina won him 2011, his batting too in final. Had a great team in 2013 CT. Shikar, Rohit, Kohli, etc

In IPL, Raina won him million games singlehandedly. So many good players in the team and Fleming is one of the smartest coaches he has had all along.

Without Raina or average talent he looked horrible last two years.

Kohli had Watson, ABDV, Gayle. Dhoni had Palani Amarnath, Balaji and the likes still went to 2007 final. You cannot discount under Dhoni average guys perform a level above their capacity. I still remember how Ntini was clocking 146k in the first IPL final. They raise their game under Dhoni. It is a fact. That is why his team is able to pull off magic.

That's ridiculous, you can say that for all the captains who were victorious. Coaching staff cannot help you with the tactics in the middle. Dhoni is a fantastic captain in the shorter formats, anyone who played under him have said so. Having great players does not automatically translate to success for team. Having so many great players also shows that Dhoni was a great man manager as well. Having Sachin, Yuvi, Bajji, Sehwag, Zaheer et all who all were seniors to him, he still held his own and captained India to great heights. I understand that Dhoni isn't the toast of the nation right now but putting him down and calling all his achievements were lucky is pretty ridiculous. In 2007 T20 WC and 2008 CB series, he was still a young player in the team and was mostly working with young players in the team and was able to win the games with great tactics and good strategy. Coaches can draw whatever on the board and send the players in, but the captain makes the call in the middle. If everything worked as planned in the dressing room, you don't need captains on the cricket field, people can just carry out the plans given to them by their coach and everything will be hunky dory.
