in 20/20 Misbah should be batting at number 4. However he is not playing today. He is like the cleanest hitter of the ball but he needs time
 
So a couple of failures by Misbah and back to the bench? Really is ludicrous, especially considering the "strength" of the Bangalore batting line-up. Hope they lose miserably and their technically correct batsman score technically correct 20's at a sub-par strike rate, as usual. No strategy went into this at all.

The only reason for why Kallis is playing is because of his 'all-round' abilities.............if he continues the way he's been playing then Bangalore may as well play Misbah instead of Kallis and give im a bowl, he cant to much worse now can he?!!
 
a delay here. The super-sopper has stalled in the outfield and nobody can move it. Classic. Gives Chopra a bit of time to collect his thoughts. I'm very interested to see how he does here. More power to the conventional batsman, I say.

dude i have been a shoab akthar fan , but he bcoms avg in the shorter forms of the game .....he was ok in ODI's ,but he will leak a lot of runs in T20 cos he can be erratic .... so I wud prefer even joginder sharma over akthar for T20 !

Kaliis isn't playing either. Chanderpaul, Boucher, White and Steyn are the overseas players.
 
KKR have gone with a very poor combination. Hodge and Chopra are not fit to start a 50 over game and this is a 16 a side. Chopra used to open with Sehwag back in 03 and used to score at a SR that would put Dravid to sleep.

so you mean chanderpaul has a strike rate of 200+ ? Well if misbah takes abit long to settle he always makes up for it at the end .. However i feel he should be sent at no 3..

no actually , misbah has a habit of keeping it for too late ...but then like a said it was a tight call & being only 16 over match we might not need that many batsmen !

thats in the past and also 5 runs were between us. i am not sure but are pak not ahead of ind in the 20/20 table with aus at no.1 strangely

Speaking about Hoggs. Why isn't Brad Hogg the wrist spinner picked up by any of the franchises? Lots of batsmen have trouble picking his variations. Not a bad batsman either.

i can see that hafeez and malik havent performed but other pakistani's have done well, not great but then again not rubbish. but all players need some time to adapt and patience. chopping and changing is not gunna help

Afridi plays as an all rounder & he got a huge amount of money for that very reason & you are comparing it to Deccan's bowling linup which is mediocre anyways ........ his bowling has been , but batting very poor....though he deserves to keep his place for now !
