I'll cheer for DC today, they badly need a win. VVS needs to make at least 20 (and quickfire) and save some face!

Deccans fielding first. Interesting decision, seeing as its a hard, fast pitch where batting first was recommended. We have a big batting line-up though; something we can definitely chase with.

Laxman demonstrates his great captaincy again and takes Afridi off after Afridi got a wicket!

I assume he means to use Afridi in one or two over spells when the game is getting tight because he's his best bowler but a bowler needs to build up some rhythm and momentum through bowling in spells.
 
10 overs gone now, 3 left by Afridi. Unless laxman wants to bowl Afridi at the death he should bring him on now.
 
Boy this Afridi is something special eh? 2 overs 2 key wickets. And there's still 3 delivieris to go in his second over.

I dont want to believe it because it sounds really stupid but I get the impression Laxman wants to use Afridi in 4 one over spells. Whenever the other team are getting away he can stick Afridi in and Afridi will sort everything out!

I think Laxman is really DM

I guess I was right, Mumbai score 30 runs in 2 overs and LaxDM brings Afridi back!

how can u possibly employ a bowler for four one over spells only someone like laxman can think like that. worst captain of the century. looks like malik is on the same level as imran after seeing laxman..lol

I'll tell you how you can use a spinner for one-over spells. When you have a spinner that operates like some massively fatal atomic nuclear weapon that only needs to be employed sparingly :D

sorry mercenary you were wrong. afridi bowled 16th and 18th over.thats a 2 over spell :P
