I personally find it hard to judge whether the Captain is good or mediocre:kohli2!
I have only found two captains to be good recently Baz and Dhoni!
I would like too see your opinions on :sarf captaincy ?
would highly appreciate the views of Indian posters

Poor captain who's made to look good by a quality of players he's got. Even in CT triumph, besides the semi final against England, his captaincy was luckluster, some of the decisions he took at crunch moments were plain ludicrous, not to mention his persistence with Shadab to Pandya despite of him being torn apart over after over and costing Pakistan the victory margin by 50 runs at the very least, even a club captain would've had the sense to bring his premier fast bowlers at that stage with not much wickets left, that to much sums up his overrated captaincy.

Brilliant captain. Pakistani fans who bash his captaincy are absolutely clueless. Tactically he's ourbest captain since Imran/miandad. As I said before, these petty haters are like flies in front of him because of the love he gets from the general public.

I couldn't quite figure out whether this is a troll post or not however if it is then 10/10 for the effort and execution :14:

If it isn't then please kindly delete yourself from watching cricket anymore 😒😒

I'd like you to explain why the same bunch of 'quality players' were beaten black and blue under the captaincy of Azhar Ali in England, Australia, and lost to WI in their fortress? As far as the Shadab to Pandya incident is concerned...seems like you have no idea on where the game was at that point. Imad was not going to bowl and using Hafeez wasn't an option. Sounds like you've never even played a 50 over game let alone club cricket.

He is just about OK but lot more aggressive than Misbah and Azhar which is the reason why this team appears to better possessed than the earlier ones in this decade. He is just letting them play their natural games and reaping better rewards.
On the captaincy front he still has to learn and improve a lot but importantly he is on the right track. Wouldn't be justified to start judging him so early.

Do you mean in Test Cricket?

Cuz in CT, the way he rotated his bowlers settles it :ik

And OP change that profile pic. It's cringe-worthy :kohli

He's an excellent captain who was always good enough to win ICC trophies and I backed him from the start to do that, my initial prediction of the T20 WC being his first ICC trophy was wrong but I'm so happy he's won the ICC CT still. Those people who say he's a poor captain deserve captains like Azhar Ali :)))

So, he's a good captain.

He looks like a lot better captain of Quetta now that he has lost some weight and looks fit. Bit of a shame that when they are representing Pakistan, these guys lose all professionalism and are more bothered about building biriyani bellies at fancy restaurants every night of the week.
