Is the ICC under Jay Shah determined to isolate and humiliate PCB, Pakistan Cricket and its Cricketers?

- The Dubai transmission of the ICC CT has Pakistan's name missing in the Broadcast

- The Lahore match played India's national anthem in a game featuring two neutral non-Indian teams

- The ICC final CT ceremony ignored the PCB representatives available at the stadium. The PCB is not happy or satisfied with the ICC's explanation that only the heads of the cricket board are invited on stage and since Mohsin Naqvi wasn't there attending, too bad. The PCB on the other hand is taking the position that they had informed the ICC in advance that Naqvi will not be able to attend and they were authorizing the PCB CEO to attend in his place. So far the ICC has told the PCB to take a hike and that they were not interested in addressing this matter any further.

- Khusdil Shah accidentally barged into a NZ bowler in the first T-20 game. Even the NZ commentators commented that it was the bowlers fault as he got in the batsman's way and the batsman tried hard to avoid contact, move away from the bowler but ultimately could not avoid doing so. ICC fined Khusdil Shah 50% of his match fees and gave him 3 de-merit points whereas in contrast Kohli deliberately barged into Sam Kontas in Australia but only got docked 20% of his match fees and only suffered one demerit point.

- All the major global leagues around the world i.e. Hundred, ILT20, SAT20 funded by Indian investors are blacklisting Pakistani players

I mean is the PCB just going to keep taking this lying down. It is very clear that Jay Shah is coming into the ICC to implement the BJP Jay Hind policy and is not even hiding the fact that he will not be a fair impartial neutral chairman on issues involving the PCB and Pakistan Cricket.

Yes. India always tries to isolate and humiliate Pakistan. They also try to rip off other boards.

BCCICC = A Virus that has infected and impacted global cricket. :inti

I don't think this in Jay Shah's remit.

I sadly trust the ICC over the PCB on this. I believe Naqvi side swept it to save face, when he realised that even Pakistanis were demanding that their should be a Pakistani representative then they decided to play victim.

Overall its hard to judge him yet. He was quite neutral during the champions trophy decisions. Many Indians thought he would take a tougher line against Pakistan and were shocked that their own world cup had similar conditions to the champions trophy. As far as league cricket goes, well its not a Jay Shah issue. PCB screwed the hundred and other leagues by pulling NOC at last minute. So maybe they don't want to select Pakistanis anymore.

Much of Pakistan's recent fate is in our own hands. Jay Shah didn't make us sack Kirsten and Jason; he didn't make us develop a strategy reliant on anchors, it's not his fault our domestic cricket is complete crap and produced talentless zombies, its not his faults our players prefer biryani to training, its not his fault PCB is a joke board and renegs on agreements.

Pakistan cricket needs to man up at some point instead of crying. There are things India has done wrong for sure. They deserve to be highlighted, but we must also highlight our own shortcomings. We can't control Indian behavior, but we can control ourselves.

Despite holding the powerful position of ICC Chairman, Jay Shah continues to walk a tightrope between governance and nationalism, often blurring the lines. While the BCCI has pulled out of ACC tournaments over Pakistan's leadership, Shah himself has been far from neutral in matters involving Pakistan cricket. Earlier this year, India skipped the ICC Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan, a move that contradicted ICC’s commitment to global participation. Ironically, Shah, as ICC chief, was expected to ensure that member nations adhered to those very policies.

Adding fuel to the fire, he posted and quickly deleted an Instagram story in support of the Indian army amid escalating Indo-Pak tensions. The timing and tone of the post raised eyebrows globally, especially considering his dual role as a top administrator expected to uphold impartiality. The story may have vanished from his feed, but it has left behind lingering questions about his ability to separate national loyalty from international responsibility.

BCCI has denied pulling out of ACC tournaments.

Both India and BCCICC is trying to isolate Pakistan in cricket and in geo politics. This is not rocket science to understand.
