Every day, we see heartbreaking stories—Palestinians living under constant fear, Uyghur communities facing oppression, and people in Myanmar silenced and forgotten. These are real human tragedies. But somehow, the outrage doesn’t last. We scroll past, feel sad for a moment, and move on.

It’s not that people don’t care. Maybe we care too much, too often, and it’s wearing us down. Social media shows us pain from every corner of the world, all the time. It’s overwhelming. Are we becoming numb because we see too much? Or are we just mentally tired from trying to stay angry, stay active, stay hopeful?

This isn’t just about attention spans—it’s about emotional exhaustion. So many causes, so many fights, and not enough space to hold them all. Is social media making it worse? Or are we, as humans, struggling to cope with the weight of constant injustice?

Let’s talk about it. Is anger fatigue real? And what does it mean for how we respond to suffering today?

There are so many conflicts all over the world. Hard to keep track.

Major ones get most of the eyeballs (Palestine, Sudan, and Ukraine).
