Is the XI against Zimbabwe, the most boring team Pakistan have ever fielded?

I mean come on this is an incredibly slow batting for an opposition like Zimbabwe. This team has youngsters like Nauman, Tabish, Sajid and Abid. Then we have seniors like Azhar. I can't think of more dull side I have ever seen than this one. Where is vision? Where is future thinking? Also it makes my blood boil to see players like Abid raising bat after scoring half centuries against teams like Zimbabwe and the mentality in which our batting is batting. It does not look like they are playing against Zimbabwe on flat pitch but looks more like Aus on Perth or MCG.

The last dull playing XI I can remember was when Misbah used to be captain and now he is the coach. There is something uninspiring about him. He has zero vision and very rigid mentality. Why not try some youngsters on this tour? Pathetic decision to select players like Tabish, Nauman who have no future. This looks more like a charity team where you reward people showing them compassion instead of picking players who can serve for years to come. I am sorry but really disheartened by looking at today's team.

I think Pakistan had a really dull team circa 2015 I think.
It's the Misbah formula for sure.
30+ year olds making debuts. No new young players. Playing TTFs and stat inflated bullies.

Abid raises his bat and removes his helmet to every 50 and celebrates it jumping around. I've seen enough clips of him now.

Nauman is fine for now until we find a quality young spinner of which there aren't many in Pakistan.

Tabish was a charity selection. If we wanted an experienced seamer then Waqas Maqsood would've been a shrewder pick as he's got more years left in the tank.

They’ll probably pick Waqas 3-4 years down the line when he’s at a ripe old 36 or 37 years old. Dahani still has a long way to go. Needs at least another 15 years of domestic experience before he should be considered for the Test team.
