They have been unlucky with the withdrawal of Alex Hales, the Irish Opener, the injuries to Shadab, Zameer and given the number of hitters they have in the squad, the fact they are now battling with a struggling QG is a pretty poor position to be in after 9 games

I think Islamabad WIll still make the playoffs though, despite being in a bad position, because Quetta NRR is quite bad. They have badly underachieved as they have messed up in a few numbers, where they were going to win.
