Someone like Irfan Jnr has been in emerging for past 4 years just to keep an emerging player out. Someone like Shaheen is in silver and Misbah in Diamond then. Tells you a story.

Any youngster you see being mentioned or hyped, automatically assume that he's going to be 2nd grade.


It takes a LOT of skill, determination to be competitive at the international level.

98% "youngsters" you see mentioned will fail at the international level, so once someone has shown true grit, display of skill in tough conditions, only then you can make an exception.

And remove the default assumption of mediocrity.

Best times for him this season, as a emerging player he will get the chance and under dean jones i expect him to get better...

Apart from his technique, his nerves batting in front of the crowd and against int'l bowlers needs to be fixed, dont wanna develop another Hafeez
