And then people complain where are our young batsmen. They are watching it at home or being benched. When then get an opportunity the team is either in trouble or they need to score over 12+ an over. When they can't people lecture us we don't have batsmens. All these oversees batmen hold the top order. Did you see moores yesterday specially the ball he missed from amir even tail ender wont miss it by much. Due to him someone like Umar Sadiq has to warm bench.

Umar Siddiq should be the next WK-batsman in line for Pakistan given how Mohammad Rizwan has completely bottled his chances at international level.

Shame he's not getting an opportunity given the need for Pakistan to develop keeping depth.

His batting has developed to be honest. Got better shot range now plus much better defensively. You don't score 47* against the likes of Styen, rabada, philander, oliver while looking pretty comfortable.

Groundsmen in Dubai and Abi Dhabi have been struggling for years. Maybe its PCB who dont give clear instructions or its the skill level of groundsmen. Sharjah produces good cricket wickets generally.

Zahir Khan is a pretty good Afghan spinner who can replace Patel if he doesnt ball well
