Right now he has 93 wickets. He has 6 Odis this year. CT final and 5 Odis against Lanka. He would achieve it in that series.

will get there in much less games than the GOAT of Asia Bhuvi Kumar.

Very good bowler. I can see him taking around 270 ODI wickets at a good average of below 29 and an equally good strike rate. Need to get him playing tests again ASAP.

Wishful thinking

He he isn't even at 100 wickets after 5 years, his prime bowling years. And you expect him to get to 270?!

You basically expect him to triple his wickets, as he's approaching his 30s and clearly past his prime (his speed is down, swing is down, lethal yorkers are down)

I'd say he gets to 150, probably by age 31 or 32

That's too big a number for this man who appears to have been created from paper only. I am wondering how long can he manage to walk on two legs of his?He has proved himself to be that fragile. At 27 he appears to be 35. Let's pray for him that he manages to get some decent health instructor who can help him carry on for another 5 years.

He's gone through a lot. Not making excuses for his powderpuff bowling the last few years though. He was the best bowler at one time in his team, lost his best years due to knee injures in TRAINING. Than he was dropped by his captain who pubilcly said he didn't know what was wrong with him. He lost a son which made a legend like Anwar lose interest in the game when he lost his daughter. It doesn't matter if he loses the plot from here. It takes big guts to come back like that. You gotta admire a guys' courage. Sad that he won't get to 200 ODI wickets but at least we have this to remember him for. It's like Sugar Ray Leonard's one night spectacle against Hagler. He was never the same again but for one night, he was the Ray Leonard everybody remembered.

You're kidding me with this argument. The reason he only has 90 wickets thus far is because of his injuries. If he stays fit from here on out, he'll get to the 250-270 wickets mark.
