He can only be judged relative to his competition and the options we have available. He's just better, which is a reality, no matter how bitter for some.

He'll be better than most of the team in CT too, where he can actually play pace.

But others like Malik/Sarf/Shehzad can't.

Even though these three aren't the best against pace, all three have a better record against pace than Kami. Remember the England series? Sarfraz and Malik both did well while Kami is having a difficult time facing WI bowlers. What make you think Kami will set rest of the world on fire?

He isn't better than those players. Malik and Sarfaraz have actually been great over the past two years, not old history, last two years. Shehzad is a mediocre batsman but has also performed better than Kakmal.

Kamran's dot ball ratio last couple of games was more than 75% and almost 91% in the last T20. That is terrible. And if his fan(s) wants to compare him to Shehzad etc and sing his laurels then that is not a compliment.

There is NO comparison with Sarfraz. Who has a WAY better average (34 vs 26) at a much higher strike rate.

Kamran is nothing but a massive fraud, and the fact he only has one or two cheer leaders here shows how much support he has.

The minor difference being that others are younger than him and hence may turn out slightly better. Even if Kamran was ''okay'' there is no point investing in a 35 year old, he is no Misbah who can play quality cricket past 35. He's not played quality cricket in his career, never mind now.

I mean what did people expect, he has been a keeper for majority of his career it was always going to be a big ask considering how inconsistent he is with regards to his keeping speciality. It would be a challenge making the transition but one would think the individual would adapt, kami is finding it tougher then the norm because he wasn't a great keeper to begin with.

One can make an argument to include Kami in the team based on his recent form and performances but given how much he costs the team in the field he has to be dropped, did we not learn from Rahat Ali's botchmania in the World Cup QF?

Then it's short term thinking that won't pay off. Why invest in a 35 year old who won't win you a tournament? It's better to have a 22 year old play who might 10 years down the road help you more than Kami in winning a cup.

And as with all KAkmal fans, they stop replying when they realise they have no justifications. I hope someday I find one who can actually debate as I would be extremely interested in finding out why people support him. But they all seem to disappear after two comments.
