WEll played both Karachi teams, it was a great final and nailbiting finish made it an unforgettable one as well, fantastic hitting by Sohail Khan almost landed Karachi Blues another defeat. Karachi Whites were the dark horses and they played superb cricket.

KArachi blues had a bad start with Whites reloving Shahzaib and Latif early with a wonderful catch, but Fawad Alam/Manzoor/Sami posting 180 was a great effort. Fawad Alam & Manzoor played intl. standard T20 cricket, ran like mad after every ball, kept dots to minimum and rotated strike effectively. And hit 4s & 6s whenever they ca, ended up with strike rate above 150-160+, although both are known for taking time to score. Whites fielding was also pathetic during this partnership.

Karachi Whites never looked threatening to chase but they were given opportunities by the Blues team, Asif Zakir scored on wayward bowling. Zain Abbas looked like a hybrid of Salman Butt & Shoaib Malik, only hit scoring shots when batting partner was striking the ball and slowly accumulated his own individual score improving 90-110 Strike rate. This is the sick legacy of Misbahs & Shoaib Maliks who keep place in the side. Like the other selfish players Butt-Akmal ended up on the losing side. Nawaz is the new Mr. Cool of Pak team, bowled the last over with a gettable score without any pressure, well played.

Inzi & Co. need to explain on what basis they picked this Rumman Raees, just crap even Sohail Khan bashed this guy easily.

I have always rated M Nawaz. Not sure why he was not selected in the T20 team. Much better prospect than Ifti Ahmed and other fast bowling all rounders that we have.
