Let's go KK! OK not really a big supporter so don't mind whoever wins, just hope it's a competitive game with some good performances from Pakistani players.
 
Another humiliation coming for Karachi Kings and yes, they deserve it badly.

They can rest their main players, KK is no where near to beat LQ"B" team. LQ should need to focus on other upcoming games.

He has been really good in domestics recently although I would have liked to see young emerging pacer Mohammad Imran
 
Good to see Amir touching 141 kph but he needs to be more consistent with his stock balls pace
 
Amir is a poor shadow of the player he could've become. He just doesn't look threatening at all.
 
Amir is so so poor. We really need to look past him. He will cost Pakistan in the world cup if he is there. I would gladly take 3 for 70 in 10 overs from someone else than 0 for 50 from Amir.
 
It's a sad day when Faheem Ashraf looks more likely to take wickets than Amir.

its a team game. as long as someone else is picking up those wickets while Amir maintains one tight end its all good.

The guy is a joke of a batsmen. Stop dreaming that he ll come good.

Fakhar is exposed and it is over, game over for him.

Time to look for other options.

AB is still the crowd puller he is, brought me here (almost spoiled by Hari though). If KK doesn't win today chasing, they'll miss out the cut almost certainly. On paper, they have 3 of PAK's best players in Babar, Amir & Imam, but probably over coached-managed; otherwise now reason this team should be at the bottom, that too after a fluke win for the innings of PSL history.

He has scored 2 50s till now in 5 matches of current PSL. He is currently ranked 9 in the ODI rankings.

What tension - there was never any tension. Modi jiiiiiiiiiii was holding on to last straw, and his Bhakhts romped the band wagon in multi dimension. Now, at least he is more or less confirmed that Imran has ensured at least there could be a BJP led coalition Government....... that too because INCs PM candidate is the Spanish damad. If INC nominates someone like Shashi Tharoor, Modi Jiiii might have to spend time in some other house of Delhi.

Do you think IAF is happy with the politicians to force them on open roof and then take out the ladder, just for the sake of an election? IND is too big for any Army coup, otherwise Modi Jiiii won't have slept so peacefully now. At this moment, any even any short scale war at borders would amplify into India's core first.

The reason he has 2 50s is, bcz of dumb bowling and not bowling according to the weaknesses of fakhar.

The weakness of fakhar is that he cant play when the bowl is bowled into his body.

Amir yamin simply did that today. He bowled into his body didnt gave him room and the old story repeats its self.

Lolz if u want to get fooled by the rankings then do so, its your choice to get fooled.

So who should be selected to replace him and play that aggressive opener role? I am sure you have had multiple options in mind when you wrote the comment to drop him.
 
Umer Khan at this young age knows how to set up an international batsman
 
Looks like LQ may end up with a below par score. Cannot afford another loss at this stage against one of the weaker sides of PSL

Not multiple options, but I have one option in mind.

Naveed malik I know that his age isnt on his side, but he can easily play for a couple of years.

In those 2 years we need to unearth a agressive opener.
 
Summers looks nothing special tbh. Hasnain had a much higher average speed.

That's better. I kept eyes on the events silently without touching PP, when emotions were high in both sides.

I did listen Imran's speech and he cooled off the situation in one line - "....... what has happened is past, what we do from now on is important. ........ don't take matters as such that it goes out beyond our hands....". The message and stand was crystal clear and he called the bluff. Also, in history I think this is first time a PAK PM has boldly announced in public that HE IS THE BOSS IN CHARGE.

Things deescalated from that point - Modi Ji also is a seasoned politician - he knows, he can't squeeze any further mileage out of it, already the aftermath has gone to down slope for him.

For T20, there are enough options - both Imad & Nawaz are there and should be in top form for next 2 WCs. What PAK needs is a conventional SLAO spinner - sadly PSL is not the place to scout for that.
 
Why LQ team has gone to shell? It's not about 4 down now, Fakhar took 21 balls in PP to reach 18. Quite laborious and clumsy effort.

Yes he was a talented striker but his domestic stats are not too heartening, that being said I wouldnt have mind to see him in PSL.

However, he doesnt look to be in the radar otherwise would have played few A games and would have been part of PSL.

Thats the problem players who can be a threat to the darlings of the coaches dont get picked despite been the best agressive opener in the country.

Look his average is maybe low, but in mt opininion a player should be picked accordingd to the format and on recent form.

Averages tells you nothing about a player, bcz I believe that if a player has the will to improve his skills. He can even become a different force in a couple of months.

So in my opinion a player should be picked according to the format and on recent from.

The form naveed malik was in, in the recent held national t20 cup, was for everyone there to see. He was a class above the rest.
 
So far only twice scores defended in this PSL and one of the game was LQ defending similar total against KK. Today's looser is most likely to miss out with MS I guess.

Not really Lahore and Karachi have played 6 games so far (Excluding this). Lahore has won 3 while Karachi have won 2. So if Lahore loses tonight they'll have the same no. of points
 
LQ’s bowling attack is too good to let this phateechar batting lineup chase this total. KK will be hoping to see CI firing again.

LQ are missing their clutch player today.

Shaheen Shah Afridi - imo he would have taken 2 wickets atleast.

He is a beast in these kind of situation.
 
I would've preferred Yasir to bowl alongside Rauf in the last 10 overs with Yasir taking advantage of the pressure created by Rauf on the other end.
 
Very impressed with sandeep lamichane.

He is quick through the air, but then the balls slows down as it reaches the batsmen.

He is really gifted with flexible wrists. Bowls with fast arm action, but as he gives the ball a rip the ball slows down when it reaches the batsmen.

His wrists, thats the difference between him and the rest.
