LQ need to get sort our Faizan & Daniyal, you can't carry non performer, Even Haris isn't bowling well.

Maybe laddy deserve a go. also need to bring in good batter in place of Faizan.

LQ really need to get rid of Faizan.... they have Agha Salman who is miles better than faizan ...

Harris Rauf is a real pain... he goes for useless runs and is just useless .....

Definitely and they are without Faheem as well but, its part and parcel of the game. They have some good young pacers (Akif, Wasim Jr, Musa and Zeeshan) as well as decent spin bowling all rounders in Zafar Gohar and Ahmed Safi along with overseas bowlers like Ali Khan and Fawad.

Their batting depth will obviously be impacted but, Wasim Jr is a decent hitter to have at no 8 and they can definitely thing about including Zafar/Safi if they want further depth.

Danyal except for last match has been generally bowling well for them in the tournament.

Faizan definitely needs to be benched unless LQ management is also superstitious enough to not change the winning combination.

A bit as per one of the LQ management’s in match interviews if I remember correctly and as per thar he can hit the ball hard on his day.

Danyal will definitely be under pressure with his performance in the last match. Other options LQ have in emerging category are Maaz Khan (Leggy), Zaid Alam (Top order batsman)

LQ could have gotten couple more here if not for that no ball and missed run out chance.
 
Whats up with the recent U19 batch batsmen struggling with the ball coming in with the feet being stuck. Surely someone needs to work with them with regards to taking their guard and maybe having bit of an open stance against the left arm pacers bringing the ball in.
 
Young pak batters all have this disease of playing across the line every ball
 
The bar IPL has set for these leagues to compete with us insanely high. One could easily fall asleep watching these psl matches. This guy Rohail Nazir is a joke if you are thinking of him as a potential replacement. The standard of cricket is very poor , unfortunately.

He was the MOM of the 2015 WC final but, a little after that his form and fitness came under question. Also Aussies want a batting all rounder (Stoinis and co) in their XI to support few overs of Maxwell. Faulkner is more of a bowling all rounder and Aussie want their three frontline pacers to play.

So multiple factors but, he is still a pretty handy bowling all rounder.
 
What was Shaheen thinking there by belting the ball at Munro?
 
Faulkner did really well with the new ball in BBL 2021 as well in the 5 matches he played. If only if would have been fitter and played all 10-14 matches while maintaining the performance he could very well have been under consideration for Aus once again.
 
Batting first on a fresh pitch in the hindsight doesnt look like a great decision but, you never know.
 
Shaheen being given a 3rd over here hoping they can get another one, have to say decent thinking by Sohail Akhtar

Let's see what Shadab does today. Great opportunity for him to settle in and play a good innings. If he gets a 50, he will shut a lot of critics and Pak would get a good option for a batsman at no. 5.

IU’s batting post openers is pretty ordinary with a lot of hit and miss players. Now they dont even have their usual batting depth as well.

Rohail not being able to carry on for then has been the biggest problem in both LQ matches. He is a good player but, needs to think about his game against individual bowlers.

Same thing happens every match. Batting first side loses many wickets in the first few overs..now whether they will make a comeback from here or not is to be seen.

He's scored a lot of psl fifties in the past but fails to clear the circle on international stage. Good for nothing
 
Shadab gone. That was a good ball though. The previous dismissal, of Talat was lame. He threw his wicket away.
 
Fresh UAE pitches with bit of grass have been offering a different type of challenge against new ball. All the batsmen including the foreign ones have struggled so far. It becomes bit easier in the second half
 
Lahore bowling is too good. Shaheen, Faulkner, Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan are all match-winners.

Yes, really disappointing to see young batsmen throwing it away when there is absolutely no need to.
 
Who is Lahore's transfer/talent scout?

They have been on point with their overseas selections!
 
The national high performace center needs to be shut down.
Seeing rohail's footwork against left armers today was an absolute shock.
The coaches clearly do nothing. Bring in professional foreign coaches if you want improvement.
 
Asif Ali at international level looks like an imposter of his own self in domestic and league cricket. The attitude, performance and confidence is completely different.
 
What an innings by Asif Ali. Could be a comeback innings into the Pakistan T20 team.

Only yesterday were posters (including me) lamenting about lack of power hitters and aggressive Pak batsmen. Looks like Asif Ali and Iftikhar have decided to do something about it. Good for PCT.

Yes that’s definitely a factor but, more than that I think its their struggle to handle pressure at international level. Pressure plays a huge role at that stage. They way Asif has hit Rashid out of the park on few balls today, he possibly would have struggled at international stage as he hasnt been able to adjust to that.
 
Rashid went for 36 in 4 overs today without any wicket
 
Asif smashing the quality of Shaheen as well now.

Its one brute of a knock. Even in SA he was given chance in ODI series because he smashed Pak main bowling attack in warm up. Its unfortunate how he couldn’t replicate at international even 25% of what he has been showing everywhere

I think they should be bowling bouncers to Asif Ali... he is not good at playing that.
