There's always an excuse or convenient scapegoat with Captain Statpad. Today was another example of how in a crunch T20, Babar either goes missing or if he does score it's at a mediocre SR.

His fans deluded themselves thinking after a few decent innings in this PSL that Babar's finally batting more aggressively. In reality he benefited from absolute roads and small boundaries, and reverted to type today.

After the 2021 T20 WC SF, 2022 Asia Cup, the deciding T20 v ENG, NZL tri-series final and 2022 T20 WC, and this epic 42 off 36, I wonder when reality will sink in !

Yes there's some exceptional innings like the 152-0 chase vs IND and the SF vs NZ, but when you play that many T20s you're bound to strike gold occasionally.

What's more amazing is despite all these semi-finals, finals and eliminators in the last 2 years as a PAK and PSL captain, Babar has led his team to just one tournament win - the BanglaWash tri-series which was a glorified warmup. Even a half-decent captain would've won more trophies given the same opportunities.

If your going to criticize someone you also got to put in thier positives aswell for example Babar is the only captain in the psl who played 4 Pakistani batters in the top 6 however I agree thier was better captains in this psl.

Yes he deserves credit for that.

I would suggest Rauf should be dropped from the Pakistan squad immediately and never picked again.
