Abdullah Shafique is technically so good but he's also got so much power and intent in comparison to Babar + Rizwan.

I feel SSA modelling himself on Wasim Akram who was a useful lower hitter himself.

I am glad Shaheen is tapping in to his batting talent and using useless PSL to build his batting base .,too often are bowlers stay in comfort zone.

Stupid floodlights failure for the delay...was hoping for a 6 pm finish as taking the kids to O2 to watch Shazam 2 before Ramzaan starts...may have to ask the missus to drive so I can watch the end of the match on my phone😜

Can’t call it a fluke. He’s shown improvement but obviously replicating such performances for Pak will be a lot more difficult. Top level they don’t serve you Anwar Ali’s and Abbas afridis at the death.
For me highlight was him hitting ihsanullah
 
Ridiculous innings by shaheen. As I said yesterday if waseem jnr is an all rounder then shaheen is Ben stokes. Outstanding innings from Abdullah shafique too who according to our PP experts is a rubbish t20 player.
 
Shafique had a quiet tournament but he came good.Form is temporary,class is permanent.

You can't call it a fluke innings. He destroyed Ihsanullah, who was the best bowler in the competition. Also to do it in a final makes it special.

To give you some perspective, Misbah couldn't deliver against a policeman in the 2007 WT20 final and a worse bowling attack in the Mohali match.

It’s an innings that took immense guts. Every hit was clean. Whatever happens, you can’t ever not call Shaheen a brave captain. And fortune, as we know, favours the brave.

Also loved how Rizzy handled him, after he went for that over. It’s not just about today but the rest of his career as well.

Who is this guy, Shaheen , the all rounder , I never knew him, someone new for me. Glad to watch his grand entry.

His inexperience showed right from the start today. He’s shown great promise in this PSL which is what matters. One of the top wicket takers
 
Shaheen's radar bit off right now but allows Usman to hit a full toss for a boundary
 
I hope that just because Shaheen played a blinder, which was a treat to watch on a placid surface, we won't hear voices of making him a a captain of T20 PCT. That should still be RIZWAN playing in the MIDDLE order.

Yeah it certainly wasn't.

It won't be as easy in internationals because he won't be facing the bowling calibre of Anwar Ali and Abbas Afridi (poor bowler in the death) but promising signs that he can be a good number 8 going forward.
 
Riz taking chances and could have been caught...but another boundary and 14 runs off the first over....

Do you on purpose keep missing the point? I don't care who wins or loses...the only way I can get hurt is when the Pakistan cricket team plays (which is very often)....what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger...as they say ..
