Two-time HBL PSL champions Lahore Qalandars will lock horns with 2019 winners Quetta Gladiators in the HBL PSL X final at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 7.30pm PKT. Monday, 26 May has been added as the reserve day for the final.

For Qalandars the road to final has been challenging as they became the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs accumulating five wins and four losses in the league stage.

In the Eliminators, the Shaheen Shah Afridi-led outfit knocked Karachi Kings and Islamabad United to storm to their third HBL PSL final in last four editions.

Saud Shakeel’s Quetta Gladiators on the other hand had a season to savour after crashing out of Eliminator 1 in 2024 and finishing bottom of the table in 2023. In 2025 they topped the points table winning seven and losing only two games with one being no-result. Quetta outfoxed Islamabad United in the Qualifier by 30 runs.

If Lahore can keep its cool, then they should be lifting their 3rd title here... Quetta is also in great form, so it is going to be one hell of a final...

Been saying since day 1, the Qalandars are the team to beat. Really impressed with their bench strength. Even after losing Daryl Mitchell and Sam Billings they've put in some terrific performances. Hoping they play Sikander Raza over Shakib.

Oh my bad. Didn't know that was going on lol. I thought they had dropped Raza, I wasn't aware of his international commitments. Thanks for pointing this out

So finally the PsL will end tonight , A decade of stable cricket league in Pakistan that's some progress amid the chaos PCB is in all the time

Lahore might be lifting their 3rd title.... Shaheen and haris need to fire today as well.

Lq heavily favorites now. Unless players who didn't fire yet fire today. Especially Saud and Finn if they can go big somehow and hit the living daylights out of Shaheen and Haris. Else Quetta got no chance.

Saud is gonna do nothing... He is not made for t20s .. he can carry the bat for 20 overs if you want him to... otherwise dont expect much

If it’s a sold out event then they need to start loading up the stadium now

None of this it gets packed out by second half but is 20% filled before 1st over bowled

I think u guys are under estimating quetta only bcoz their batters are not renowned super stars except Rossouw who has fired in one match only

Even if saud and finn get out early, qta has rossouw Hasan chandimal and Faheem who can bat 20 overs

LQ bowlers are not consistent.
Haris and shaheen both have been very inconsistent
Yes but lahore bowling has just found form. Abdullah Shafiq in top form.
Their overseas replacements are better than avishka and chandimal in middle order.

Only thing is lahore can blow hot and cold at times, if they have bad day in field, drop lots of catches, and quetta take all catches, then lahore will lose.

People underestimate value of fielding/catching often has huge impact in playoff/finals with evenly matched teams and if catch of top player is taken/dropped.

Sikandar Raza being back is huge. Lahore Qalandars could do with him.

But this is a huge occasion for Naeem to make a name for himself. Potentially to be a domestic cricket regular and maybe a Int'l call up.

Laga de aag Aaj Allen!

Laga de aag Aaj Fakhar!

Laga de aag aaj Naeem!

Laga de aag Aaj Nawaz!

Looks like Shaheen has started to develop his swing the other way now. His in swinger is still his main threat but this should help make him less predictable.

Backwas umpiring decision

You have to be 1000% sure he nicked it if there is no drs, in a big final like this!!

Imagine a Final of your premier tournament. That too of 10th edition and you have no DRS. Not even Snicko.

Indian fans were right in saying this is a Paisa Shortage League. Slowly it'll die completely
