Two-time HBL PSL champions Lahore Qalandars will lock horns with 2019 winners Quetta Gladiators in the HBL PSL X final at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Sunday with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 7.30pm PKT. Monday, 26 May has been added as the reserve day for the final.
For Qalandars the road to final has been challenging as they became the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs accumulating five wins and four losses in the league stage.
In the Eliminators, the Shaheen Shah Afridi-led outfit knocked Karachi Kings and Islamabad United to storm to their third HBL PSL final in last four editions.
Saud Shakeel’s Quetta Gladiators on the other hand had a season to savour after crashing out of Eliminator 1 in 2024 and finishing bottom of the table in 2023. In 2025 they topped the points table winning seven and losing only two games with one being no-result. Quetta outfoxed Islamabad United in the Qualifier by 30 runs.
