Haris Rauf is not playing first class because he playing some randam club tournament of Lahore Qalandars, now he will play T10 tournament because he contractually bound to Lahore Qalandars. These cricketers will be directly going against PCB policy, don't think Haris will be selected any time soon. Shame they gave a promising star to Pakistan and they are hell bent on destroying his career.

Rana said six products of the Qalandars’ development programme – Rauf, Sohail Khan, Maaz Khan, Majid Ali, Ahsan Mirza, Dilbar Hussain – will all be involved.

“They have no obligation to apply an NOC from the PCB, they are contractually bound to the Qalandars,” Rana said.

Why is Haris Rauf playing in this tournamnet/ programme anyways, isnt this development programme meant to be for players who havent really found a domestic team/ PSL franchise, but have potential? Haris Rauf is already chosen for a domestic team (Northern) and PSL team lahore qalandar so I don't see the need in him playing for this tournament. It looks like Fawad Rana doesnt really like PCB and what PCB did about his Qalandar T10 team, so Im pretty Rana is using his own PSL players to go against PCB.

Shame that the player will suffer because of the tussle between Qalandars and PCB

I’m sure Haris Rauf would have wanted to play FC instead of this Micky mouse cricket club tournament.

Seems to be a star in this tournament!

First time I'm hearing of such a contract which takes precedence over a provincial first-class level contract.

And the PCB sits and watches this happening right in front of their eyes.

If Haris gets selected for Pakistan and he doesnt get a national contract from PCB straight away the next thing we will know might be him being called back from national duty to play in LQ tournament.

Did he require PCB NOC for skipping FC matches and playing T10 matches for LQ PDP ?

In only his 2nd FC match he outbowled FC bowlers like Taj Wali, Amad Butt, Khurram Shehzad, Sadaf Hussain and Mohammad Musa and looked quality taking 5/131 on a flat wicket. Bowled good outswingers from good length, bowled good Yorkers and deadly bouncers.

With adequate training under Mohammad Waseem (quality coach) and handy FC experience where he would have attained good Match fitness which would have helped him to stake a claim for Pakistan Odi and Test Team next year. We mustn’t forget that he had a good start to his List A career. He was amongst the few bowlers who swung the new ball which was rare.

After PCB stopped Pakistani players from taking part in T10, Haris Rauf is back and playing for Northern in Round 8 of QEA.

Only one winner - the Board.

If the player had stayed in UAE he risked his career.

The next time a PSL Franchise dares to pull this off, the PCB should threaten termination of the Franchise agreement. I believe the PSL is bigger than these Franchise Owners now that it is back in Pakistan.

Good move from PCB. i've no problem with Pakistani players featuring in 2-3 leagues around the world, but when you put this circus T10 league above QEA Trophy then Haris Rauf's *** should be hauled back to Pakistan and play a format that's actually going to help his development.

PCB and wasim khan need to get their act togethet pronto!
Haris rauf is the closest bowler i have seen to waqar younis, if managed properly, he will be atg.
But I fear he will be ignored by pcb and become the bowling equivalent of fawad alam!

Can't imagine Lahore Qalandars will be happy about this and this will not be the end of the matter.

To be fair, I don’t think Haris Rauf will get selected in the near future.

He looks to me like a person with a big ego, which will be his main obstacle for playing for Pakistan.
