The Hearts of Lahore Qalandars fans are once again broken too soon.

It's time to make some changes in the management team, they always sign some good players but team selection is almost always disappointing.

They need a new head coach and captain.

Really dissapointing because .
1 - They are the most entertaining franchise .
2- Lahore is the powerhouse of Pakistan cricket . Has produced some of the greatest cricketers .
Maybe they should get a couple of local guys like Wahab , hussain talat , zafar gohar playing for the city.

Apparently I heard Lahore Qalandars is a fine example of Seth culture, with every decision from top to bottom taking place by permission from the Seth. Some teams are better run than others, with people not interfering with decisions that taking place by the management. But not the Rana brothers. Fawad Rana's presence might be celebrated, but he has a big role to play in some of the mishaps that happen in a poorly run franchise.

Time to make Fakhar Zaman captain, no use of having McCullum captaining rest of the games. See what Fakhar can do as captain. I'm not in favor of foreigners captaining the squad. The PSL should be a platform to groom new captains.

Yeah you are right.

They are the only team from in the inaugural season to have not reached the finals. Gujarat Lions haven't reached the final either but they only played their first season in 2016

LQ seriously need a guy like Umar Amin or Babar Azam or Haris Sohail at 3 or 4 to play that "knock it around get the singles" role. Your whole team make-up is messed up. Either there are hell to leather types such as Fakhar, Mac, Narine etc or there are absolute duds who struggle to even rotate strike such as Gulraiz Sadaf and Ramdin.

Also Umar Akmal needs to be dumped before tomorrow. He is the definition of gully mohallah level. I was hoping for a KK vs LQ final this year takkay hum apko ghar bula kay zaleel kartay... saray iradon pe pani phir gaya

Zero sympathy for Fawad Rana because he is responsible for this mess. He should've sacked both Aqib and McCullum after the 2nd edition but he didn't and he probably still won't. It is easily the worst run franchise with zero cricketing knowledge in its midst. It's like a mini PCB of the late 90's - running on an ad hoc basis.

Islamabad United on the other hand are completely 180 degrees to Lahore. They have signed one of the best captains in Misbah, a thoughtful coach in Deano, got the services of Wasim Akram for the first 2 editions and when he left, replaced him with a like for like in Waqar.

You can learn a lot from quality international captains, that's a learning curve for the entire squad potentially, not just one particular player being groomed at the potential expense of others.

In initially seasons DD was a strong team and topped the table once as well only to be demolished by a Gilchrist special in semi finals else we would have won that season..

After that we have continued to underachieve and have had big name players who when in Delhi sucked big time but then went to other teams and became amazing players.. Now fans are used to Delhi not being in top 4 and don’t really have much hopes or expectations from them..

I don't think a successful businessman is naive enough to rely on a failure like umar akmal that too in three straight seasons and in the highest category.
He might be pushed for akmal selection atleast and brandon shouldn't be selected as captain. Narine might be a good captain or yasir shah.

Quite the contrast to how Mumbai Indian started their IPL journey. In first two seasons we were horrible but then we made it to finals and lost to CSK. But now we are most successful franchise in IPL.
