I guess everyone was excited once the trailer came out and the show lived up to the hype.The first 8 episodes were slow paced (the plot kept me interested though)but from episodes 9-13 the show did set the stage on fire.Ben Barnes was also brilliant as Billy Russo

Saw the first 3 episodes and thought it was really slow. Will start again from episode 4 if you reckon it gets more interesting.

Look forward to this, have not got around watching it yet. Marvel / Netflix done a brilliant job with the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage; expect this to be just as good

You can still watch it and enjoy it because it’s in the same universe but the story itself has nothing to do with daredevil/defenders, etc.

So far on the second episode, has been amazing and defiantly not slow like some have said.
If one is planning on watching it, at least watch Daredevil season 2 first. It will give a lot of context to the Punisher series.

Season 3 was released in October. It was the best season out of all the Marvel Netflix shows.
The show was cancelled 2 weeks after S3 was released.

Well said S03 was brilliant,I was almost certain they will.mess this up after Defenders but it was better than S02 and equal to S01 for.me.

Yeah, S2 really fell down after the Punisher arc, but was still a really good show.
Only hope is Daredevil S4 is released on Hulu after 2 years or something.

Most of the Marvel shows on Netflix which were cancelled will come back on the Disney streaming service that is launching soon, I think even a Loki spin-off series is planned.

I don't think so. Disney+ wants it's streaming channel to have family friendly content. None of the Netflix Marvel shows are family friendly.
The contracts situation at Netflix is such that the netflix iterations of the characters can only be used 2 years after cancellation. Disney can, however, buy out those contracts. But will they?
I would like nothing better than the shows moving to Disney+, but as it stands the mature content could move over to Hulu, which is also owned by Disney.
A Loki series and a Scarlet Witch + Vision series is confirmed.
A Bucky and Falcon series is also rumored.
