Wow, would be quite the coup. Hope our young fast bowlers could learn something from him.

He will play for the right price. Most will play. Its about affordability.

You need to look at his overall career. You make him sound like a legend when the fact is he was only really good for a short period of time, in fact one series at home against England. And then the immediate tour to SA.

Nothing else apart from that. TOTALLY toothless in Asia specially and the UAE.

Islamabad United i guess?

Because currently i dont think any team has a player who has been ousted due to injury. Islamabad has russel injured

Dwayne Bravo's participation for Qalandars is also in doubt after his hamstring injury.

Yes the 550+ international wickets took themselves

Also the WC medals.

And obv the ICC cricketer of the year award in 2009 eventhough he only had 2 good series in 2013-14

Wait he still plays? I thought he retired from all forms of cricket. Anyway, it would be amazing if PSL has a player like Johnson. Then maybe our mediocre bowlers may learn a thing or two from him.

Ah yes...another brilliant post!

I'm sure you've considered that Mitch averages 18 in the UAE and overall 21 in Asia with 4 4fers and 2 5fers in ODIs...you know...one of the shorter formats.

It's a joke that the PSL only has 5 teams.

Need at least 6 to make the scheduling more fair and not as repetitive.

Idealy it should around 8 like the BBL.

But owners are so greedy that they will try and block new teams coming through, whioch in turns blocks chances of finding any real new talent.

They have blocked this time, but agreed for more teams for next year's PSL.

Brother Markhor is right.

Mitchell Johnson is a role model for modern day FAST bowlers. He is a trend setter in terms of physique needed in modern day Cricket. It's after him that Milne, Cummins, Pattimson, Wood, Starc, Ferguson acquired physiques required for Fast bowling.

Lean & Muscular.

Though this resurgence had to do alot with High performance centre, Professional coaches, biomechanics, human movement experts, trainers, nutritionists but havinh gone through the process for those 6-8 months he had hands on experience and some scientific imsight aswell. He had runup issues and he sorted out the issue very well he can guide Ehsan Adil on that.

He can give best diet & fitness advice to fast bowlers.

In Asian conditions in Odi's such bowling is needed if you are no Mustafiz and aren't found out.

It was only after lots of arm twisting and behind the scenes bickering no doubt.

The owners only care about themselves and their team brand rather than actually trying to find new talents.

Teams will always be for of has beens and TTF that have international exposures.

Hawkeye really has something against Australian bowlers lol...

It's like Varun's grudge against Australian batsmen.:yk

He was brilliant in the last UAE series. Even when Pak batsmen were making mincemeat of Aussie bowlers on flat decks, they couldn't get anything going on against Mitch. I really don't know how he came to "toothless in Asia specially and the UAE conclusion". I don't know why people just make stuff up and pass it as a fact.
