So we know how Wahab's star rose with the Watson spell etc - Amir's CT performance is also similar to that and seems that the selectors may not trust him again; They may decide to send him a message.

Could he then end up like Wahab Riaz? On the fringes, seen in leagues and domestic matches?

He needs some time away from t team so that he can work hard at his bowling and get better. It’s pretty clear whatever the likes of azhar have tried with him hasn’t worked so now it’s down to himself to do some soul searching and get his act back together. Force him to toil in the domestic scene for th rest of this season.

Most certainly , he will be playing t20 leagues around the world for the next few years.

Why not? Why should he be treated differently to the likes of Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Sohail Khan and co.

The likes of Junaid Khan, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali played plenty of cricket for Pakistan from 2011 to 2015 and never once complained about work load and played most of their cricket in the UAE.

I think Pakistan will do well with a bowling unit where no one is hyped up and where everyone goes about their job silently.

I mentioned in another thread that there are a couple of technical issues with Amir's bowling, especially with his run up and delivery stride.

He needs to get back to basics and work on these issues first and foremost.

He should do well in england conditions for worldcup if there is bit of help to him at start. Idk if he is useful on flat pitches or without help to bowlers.

Well its an end to a promising bowler's association with the team; We know that with Wahab he is not been able to come back.

We've been hearing this for a while now, the reality is he just doesn't have it in him. He did back in the old days, and he did show he can do it when the scenario suits him. But that is not often and 95% of the time he is nothing but mediocre.

A bowler is always learning and adapting. His issue is he never adapted to the cricket in the UAE or asia, neither he wants to.

When criticized he will respond by saying 'does your morning show receive the same ratings all the time?'- Well Amir maybe needs to realize that his morning show will soon be taken off air for good
