Mohammad Amir : Overrated or underachiever?

LOL at people trying to use his performance in the CT when he got Virat Kohli out, sorry to burst your bubble but it was a ODI where he was looking to score, the real test of a bowler is in Test matches where batsmen are trying to survive, it takes a special bowler with special skills to be successful and take wickets in Tests, where as in ODI cricket a part time medium pacer can be just as effective as a strike bowler.

Amir has shown to be a average to useless Test match bowler, he just doesnt have the weapons like Starc and Boult to take wickets, its something his fans just have to admit. He will most likely be dropped from the Test team, which will be very embarressing

He is the best bowler in the world (only playing against minnow against their D team).

Impressive bowling last game. Shaping up to be a very very solid t20 bowler. Should focus solely on the shorter formats now and try to become the next Malinga, who is arguably the greatest T20 bowler ever.

Wow awesome, he is good at getting batsmen caught on the boundary while they are slogging him.
Nothing to be proud of sorry, a part time bowler could easily be the best T20 bowler

Who said anything about being proud ? Infact I am sad that he is becoming another Mustafizur.

Amir speaking ahead of the game in PSL :

"Yorker is the most difficult ball in cricket as you have to bend your back and in T20 the ball never really gets old so its the most difficult ball to bowl"

"Wasim Akram is a legend and there is no one like him when we talk about left-arm fast-bowlers"

"He is giving us more confidence and he is saying that if you have committed to bowling the next delivery in a certain way, then bowl it that way and dont change your mind"

"I have to deliver as the main fast-bowler but we have to play like a team as well tonight"
