Rizwan is the ultimate "yes man" more than anything else. It has less to do with bringing his friends and more to do with accepting everyone being thrown his way. Sure the core might be his friends but they were going to be in the CT team regardless of what he wanted.

The only non-core player I think he genuinely cares for is Abrar Ahmed. I can tell from how Rizwan captains him.

On the fielding/captaincy side, it's hard to blame him. If your bowlers are bowling all over the place, I don't think there's much any captain can do unless he's getting to pick the players (which he isn't).

The real criticism should be for his batting and how he strategizes that part of the game. There's no excuse for that.
