Pcb have announced 31 members for the camp for odis and t20 series against

westindies ,Interestingly rizwan is not picked for the camp which is due

to 35 year kamran akmal who make a comeback after last played in 2014 is

picked as a keeper for the camp .i think Inzi should have picked rizwan for

odis and kamran akmal for t20s and if kami did well in t20s he should have

been picked for odis then but seems like selector have made there mind and

kamran well be picked for both t20 and odis against westindies

Amir is a better batter than Rizwan. He has had plenty of chances but can't deliver in international cricket. He has done absolutely nothing noteworthy and plenty of opportunity to do so.

100% agreed, he bats like a tailender most of the times, not a reliable option in the lower order and can't be played in the middle order because it's already packed.

A keeper who can't bat well enough doesn't deserve to be selected for Pakistan because batting is already weak.

Yes the answer to that is not to replace him with rizwan. Regardless of all the spin by sarfaraz, kamran plays as a batsman. And if he fails (which he will, whether now or at champions trophy) a batsman should replace him.

Kamran Akmal is 35 years old, he doesn't have long left, Rizwan if he does well in domestic will definitely be back

He definitely has to improve his batting no doubt. I trust him to do the hard work and comeback quickly. He has improved his keeping a lot being with the team for 2 years. He is definitely the backup for Sarfraz in terms of keeping. Actually he is the better keeper than Sarfraz but left out for his batting and his counterpart is the vice captain for tests and captain for LOIs

Rizwan shouldn't be discarded forever but his form was terrible. He always looks like he's gonna trip over his shoelaces at the crease. Still remains the best fielder in Pakistan for me though.

I have a problem when people hate on a cricketer without a reason but turn a blind eye when his performance is better than their favorites. Rizwan justified his selection as captain by being arguably the best performing batsman in the side after Imam.

So disappointed to see Rizwan out of the side. I think he is one of Pakistan's brightest young talents, along with Fawad Alam who would have been a regular international batsman if he was born other than in Pakistan.
