Brother MS Literally has the strongest team, that Like in first early years of psl quetta kept dominating either reaching finals or winning and people attributed that to sarfraz when in reality when you have players like Shane Watson, Kevin pieterson, Jason roy( in his prime) playing under one roof as well as having the best bowling attack, they'd obviously win.

The only team that can challenge MS is PZ who've beaten them 2x now, but that's only if their opening clicks, whereas MS has the more balanced team.

In the world cup, rizwan is not going to have the most powerful team not even close, he's not gonna pull a pat Cummings and win a world cup despite originally starting at the bare bottom of the table.

And considering he's literally opening and leading from the front, it's gonna be greater pressure.

Rizwan has been really good with field changes and bowling changes and overall very good at leading the side. This has been the case for the last few seasons. Even lots of people predicting MS as the winners would not have predicted them playing this well during the season.

Also what does matter if PZ won the previous 2 matches when they got crushed by MS when it mattered the most in the qualifier today? MS clearly has had the better season, although whoever holds the trophy in the end will of course have had the best season out of all the teams.

Pat Cummins has cemented himself as one of the ATG captains and one of the greatest Australian bowlers. No one else in cricket right now is up to that standard. Rizwan does not have to be the greatest captain of all time to be selected, he just has to be the best amongst all of the options we have and so far it’s clear that the 4 choices are either Babar, Shaheen, Shadab, and Rizwan and out of those 4, Rizwan is easily the best choice.

This is the 4th final in a row Multan Sultan's have been part off. Before Rizwan took the helm, MS had never even made it to one final. What's even more impressive this time around is that everyone had written Multan off.

No Tim David, no Rilee Rossow, no David Miller, no Ishanullah. If any other team had such a drastic shake up within its ranks I could guarantee that they would not have had even half the season Multan has had - just look to Lahore.

The most impressive thing about Rizzy's leadership however is how he gets the best out of all his players. Before this year Iftikhar was seen as a liability in the PSL and rightly so. However under Rizwan's captaincy he has upped his game to 100, becoming the best finisher in the tournament. Same could be said for guys like Abbas Afridi, Usama Mir, Usman Khan, Chris Jordan, Yasir Khan etc.

Whether Multan win or loss is irrelevant. Rizwan has easily proven himself to be the best leader in Pakistan's ranks and to not appoint him captain would be a travesty of the very highest order

Quetta isn't anywhere close, they have naufay batting at 4 for God sakes. Quetta on paper and even before yesterday was always the weakest squad in the entire tournament, with arguably KK being weaker.

How they managed to reach qualifier and LQ completly flopped idk.

The usama mir point is valid, but that is not what in referring to.

On paper the people who are expected to perform were not going to perform as anyone who witnessed their past recent performances would know they wouldn't.

Who expected roy to perform when he couldn't even reasonably make it to the main squad in 2023? Yet for some reason he was their favourite.

The people who are expected to perform in paper are the ones who've recently been in form, but because fans love to use emotion and past performances from nearly 5 years ago, their always baffled but who performs and who doesn't.

The usama mir point is fair however.

Great comments by Riz, they did really well to take it to the last ball. Game could've gone either way. He's shown over and over again how he's a thinking captain and how to get the best out if players.

If he can do this with one of the weakest teams in the PSL than imagine what he can do with a star studded line up like PCT.
