I remember the days when I used to be a regular here and would often find you take on 50 different posters in 20 different threads, and be in awe of your stamina. I can't manage that; I debate in one thread at one time. Actually, I once ended up mixing things, saying that Ganguly should`ve avoided locking horns with the Russian army, and Hitler should`ve batted first against the mighty Aussies in World Cup 2003. Never again I said!
Have you watched it? If so, how did you find it?
One least expects SRK to do be given such a role, and it´s another thing that he surprised me with his performance. Indeed, he´s always had the ability (the guy has a magical voice!), but sometimes he chooses pretty average films. Aamir Khan is a king in that regard, he picks the best one.
I wasn´t able to concentrate fully the first 25-30 minutes due to a distraction, which I´ll catch up with soon at home, so there´s likely that I might then pay more attention to the thin details and plot-holes, but on that evening on Sunday, SRK made it irrelevant and unimportant.
Paise mujhse matt maangiyega, agr pasannd na aayi tou!
Haha......keen observer. And a very kind way to put it which you always do (but sadly am a bit way too argumentative which needs to change).
Yeah I read every part of the post and felt this was one of those times when a discussion stops moving forward and becomes a bit more cyclic. There were a few points raised for which I do have a response but felt eventually it would lead to a predictable arc.

As for Raees, about time SRK starts taking on proper roles so in that aspect Raees may be a welcome sign. This guy can act when he puts his mind into it. Its fascinating to see how things can keep clicking for you for a long time and after a while, once the slide starts, you don't what to do or how to arrest it. It will be interesting to see how his career pans out from now on on even his movies aren't. That's what I look at when SRK releases movies these days.![]()
