This what marketing and brand experts want to see. Samit Patel bowling to Johnson Charles in UAE conditions when the ball isn't coming onto the bat.

Last few games for Shadab in PSL, in international T20 and ODIs have been his worst bowling figures.
He won't get dropped
Shadab has been mediocre lately.
Shan so classy.
Last year, among few suggestions to improve PSL, among top one of mine was to reduce quota of foreign players. There is absolutely no reason to play Walton as opener for his pass-port and pay top dollars. They should reduce foreign quota to 4 (2 in playing XI), and uncap the budget for foreigners. PSL doesn't have the window and it's the busiest time in calendar, therefore unless it pays obnoxious amount, in any case won't get more than top 15-20 players at most.
In ODI or Test is different issue, but PAK's domestic resources are rich enough for T20, for PSL not to entertain half of these foreigners (& most of the rest half are selling their career profile after retirement, more than their cricket).
Pitches well i have seen in IPL pitches like this as well. U dont want high scoring all the times it gets boring. I like this pitch.
sure but not this early in the tournament
Yet whenever I point out PSL is of average quality some fans jump on me saying it belongs in the same company as IPL.
Bhai we are not playing in 10 different cities. We are playing in 3 venues, so u will expect pitches changes sooner than later.
Azam has a good tempremeant. I can remember him winning a game for us against West Indies in 2011. He should have been given a longer run.
He should concentrate on his batting as his bowling isn't good enough.
I watch the IPL. It's nowhere near the IPL.
Ipl has been there for 11 years while its just 4th edition of PSL. Comparison at this stage of PSL which is the youngest league is not justified.
However it still has created an impact in his early days.

he was great in the under 19 world cup in 2010
but since then he hasn't done anything
PSL will never be close to the IPL. IPL has elite talent and does back Indian talent. PSL does neither . Furthermore playing so many games in the UAE doesn't help.
I don't understand why he was dropped after that performance in the West Indies. He had good tempremeant. Everything else will come after that.
After watching Hammad's innings in the U19 WC against, I thought that we will build a team around him but looking at him today you can see that he is awful. Whatever happened to that talent.
that was 9 years ago mate
back when azeem ghumman and shehryar ghani were supposed to be the next big things
I am talking about his talent. Looking at him today , he is awful.
yup, regressed a lot
He can't hold the bat, every time he swings it, he loses control.
i think you need a balance.
those 4 foreigners need to be of top quality and willing to play in pakistan
4 is perfect.

Bold one is never going to happen, even if they are willing to play in PAK. PSL window is between JAN-MAR, when you won't get players from AUS, SAF and most likely NZ as well and unless they are playing against each others, means they are blocking 3 more teams; add to that IND's home series, basically hardly any regular international for full 5 weeks.
This is where the 2nd suggestions come, which is used in BPL - pay as you play rotational squad.
Letting Russell go is 1 decision as an IU fan that annoys me to his day.
is he available for whole tournament ?
only way psl will be close or better than ipl is by playing matches in pakistan (which will ensure full houses) and offering more money, a lot more money to attract the top players.
that's true, i think ipl has the best window of march - may?
It's about money - it's fortunate for us that APR-MAY is the best time for T20 in IND, otherwise they could have made it DEC-JAN and Aussies, Poms, Saffers would have sucked fingers on Boxing day & new years week.
Cricket economy is polarized and add to their benefit we have PCB like boards to screw-up relations - otherwise this year only Shakib is playing in IPL - it was possible to play 6-7 games ODI series during IPL period.
