I think its time for Sammy to pick up the bat again after few overseas players leaving due to Corona to provide some power at the end. :najam
 
So sammy will be available as a player .
If it was misbah that record would have been held for almost forever

Hammad Azam joins Peshawar Zalmi squad

Karachi 13 March 2020:

All-rounder Hammad Azam has been included in the Peshawar Zalmi squad with immediate effect.

Hammad's inclusion has been approved by the event technical committee.
 
Since the overseas players are leaving, i'm hoping Rohail Nazir and other youngsters will be given a chance now.

MS still have 3 I guess at their disposal however, Rohail deserves a go anyways.
 
it doesn't really matter those overseas players were mostly useless for Peshawar.We are gonna win this one.Chalo wahab veere.
 
Zalmi win the toss and bowling first. Zalmi having all local players I think will be more exciting and Rohail Nazir in the Multan XI.

Rohail Nazir showing today why it’s been a blessing that he wasn’t selected earlier this season. He’s not a t20 player and this would have knocked his confidence, and fans would be writing him off already.

He’s developing well and can be useful for us in other formats.
 
Rohail is more suited as a middle order player, I feel. Zeeshan kinda reminds me of Dhawan in his batting style.

I agree. Maybe for t20s he should be played at 3 or 4, but he can be more useful in ODIs and tests.

He has no business playing T20s. Don't want to ruin our team further.

Maybe not even ODIs. Let's see.

i think there is no pressure now to get into positions as top 4 are into semis so it doesnt really matter where you finish...

Rohail’s not the dynamic sort of player but from what I’ve seen he can rotate the strike and can hit the odd boundary or two. This was evident in the u19 WC semi final vs India, that too under pressure. I can definitely see him in ODIs.

In regards to t20s, fair enough. I just feel that his best shot of bringing out his maximum output as a batsman is somewhere in the middle order. If it’s still too much for him, then yea t20 is not his format.

This is a good batting wicket and you'll need 180 to have a chance.
 
hammad on to bowl not sure he needs to..malik has bowled 2 overs so has amir ali..wahab hasan rahat i guess he has to then...

True but it’s not all that different to the matches Pakistan played in the UAE so I think most here would be used to it.
 
Good platform made by multan. Can they get a big total now?

Nazir looked good and in shaa Allah we see more application from him in future games

Good to see some batting all rounders putting work on their bowling but they need to start performing with the bat. Hussain Talat was also bowling 132+ kph in the matches he played but they need to start creating impact with the bat.

Zeeshan scored some runs but didn't look fluent today. He doesn't like pace or it just wasn't one of his better days?
 
Zeeshan out to the legend. Wrong time for Zeeshan to get out, had to stay deep into the innings.
 
It amazes everytime I see a worse-than-mediocre trundler like Rahat getting back to back opportunities every season.

It looks like they are waiting for some fluke performances from him, so that they can get the opportunity to call him back to the Test XI.

Talat needs to stop bowling forever and just be a batsman.

Hammad can bat it’s his bowling where he needs to be better
