Has anyone ever heard or experienced their loved ones or anyone who has gone through this disease?

Apparently this is a very rare neurological disease which occurs in 5-10 out of 100,000 people and is actually even more severe than traditional Parkinson Disease and hence not much information and literature is available on it

Yes. Its considered a 'Parkinson Plus' syndrome. Along with the symptoms of Parkinsons (tremor, slow movements, instability), it can cause lightheadedness (as your BP will drop when standing, leading to a high risk of falls) and co-ordination issues (due to damage to the cerebellum).

Reading the literature on it online is very scary. It apparently is a more accelerated and painful version of Parkinson's where people at best only live 5 years after diagnosis and maximum ten if they are lucky and that also in not very desirable conditions.

It apparently is so rare and happens in 5 people out of 100,000. My mother has been diagnosed with it and I am trying to learn as much as I can about it and also draw on the experiences of others who have seen a loved one go through it.

A girl whose mother passed away from it after an 8 year struggle reached out to me and it was depressing when she told me about what was to happen next

Don't use Google too much for research purposes especially for medical issues.

Experience makes a big difference in the life of a doctor.

What is written in theory and what could be reality could be very different.

Consult with doctors who could give actual scenario after proper evaluation of the patient.
