Hi Guys,
I am very excited that I have purchased a L&W Reserve Cricket Bat and its on the way to Dubai.
Mr Anthony has been so patient with all my questions before I decided to go for this profile which suited my style of play. The more questions I kept on asking him, I have been getting very positive replies without any delays and is one of the best customer service I have experienced. The bat is a monster for that size oh my. Hope it performs the way I have heard things about them. Below are the details/specifications.

Handle length: Short
Blade length: Standard
Handle type: Oval C10 – This will improve the pickup of the bat and give you solid whip through impact.
Weight: 2lbs 7ozs
Sweet spot: Mid - Low and extended
Profile: Special
Willow Grade: Reserve

Awesome bat...hope you score a lot of runs with it :)
Btw which team do you play for in dubai?

Has anyone experienced this bat on this forum?

I played with an old school "Pvt Bin" which was made before the "thick edges" era.
That was a super solid bat with zero concaving and a lot of thick meat around the spine.

I then had James whittle me a totally customized bat which I wasn't very happy with. Perhaps it was my specs since I experimented a couple of things that broke the ICC rules. I sold that bat later.

I think you made a wise decision to keep the weight at around 2.7 because maneuvering a big bat is hard not only because of its weight (which does not apply in your case) but also the sheer thickness of edges which create extra friction with the air during the bat speed.
