My new Salix Pod performance bat

After testing my Friends Salix Torque bat i decided to buy Salix bat to. I bought from same guy who sold to my friend he had some bats left from last year.He hand picked all bats from Salix factory last year.

I wanted Torque since it has mid to high middle but the one he had did not look good. So i went for a Salix Pod performance bat with mid middel weight 2.11/2.12 . I changed original grip with salix double chevron grip.

Now i have used Salix bats in 4 matches and have never hit so many boundaries with so much ease and just pure timing. I have never played so well as i am doing now. I have always played with 2.7/2.8 bats first time i am using heavy bat but its well balanced and does no feel so heavy. So i high recommend Salix bats.

Salix Pod was crowned to be the best bat of 2013.

Our desi folks stick with CA 12000 and 15000 and hardly have any idea of the true class of a high end bat when you spend £200 plus and buy an over dried piece of hardly pressed willow with a poor quality handle.

I have tested CA 15000 limited edition. AMAZING BATS but travel to CA Sailkot factory its better for me to buy English bat and good service.

From now i would ONLY use english bats.

I am telling you, the worst EVER cricket related customer service I experienced was with CA.
These guys at CA are amazingly arrogant.

I agree. No service at all just gave me blank bat with no stickers grip etc. Was told no just pick from these. Same was with MB. But MB owners Malik Brothers are really nice ppl. I met Zahid Malik few times very polite and his elder brother even better. He is manager of Sailkot team to. So next time IF i go to sailkot it would be MB not CA.

But looks like i will stay with English bats like Salix , B3, Hell4leather etc.

Yep, many English bats are top notch. My best experience was with Redback Allegiance. Just amazing craftsmanship and super excellent perfomance. I have also heard some really good things about Warsop Venom Pro and B3 bats. I didnt get along very well with Newbery though. It just felt like the face is slightly narrow.

But yeah, if youn are in the nets practicing tulla maari then get an al-cheapo from CA.
