Naseem Shah faces a massive PKR 2 crore penalty from the PCB over a central contract-breaching tweet aimed at Maryam Nawaz [Update@post#92]

£72,000 fine, that’s the equivalent of:

1 face lift (£5,750)
1 neck lift (£5,250
1 blepharoplasty (£4,195)
1 buccal fat removal (£2,295)
1 otoplasty (£3,495)
1 double chin reduction (£3,000)
1 chin implant (£4,995)
1 brow lift (£4,995)
1 liposuction (£7,000)
1 brachioplasty (£4,995)
1 labiaplasty (£3,995)
1 perineoplasty (£3,495)
1 alarplasty (£2,195)
1 roberto cavalli shoulder bag (£19,800)

Naseem Shah has essentially paid for Shaza Fatima Khawaja’s “glow up”.

There you go.
As i said before. Basically, celebrities give their social medias to their pr account managers, who post stuff on their behalf.

Basically what must have happened was that the account manager was a youthiya, ended up posting bakwas on social media, forgot to switch the accounts.

Hopefully that guy is fired from his job.

Naseem will have to bare this, because its his account.
Pipe down Major Fail.

Epic bootlicker extraordinaire.

Bakwas? If you say so it is, familiarity breeds contempt, no?

Naseem should have owned it, respect for him would have gone up!

You have some personal vendetta against Naseem. what sort of punishment you want for him to be hanged?

Imran khan says it should be 5 years prison for anything going against the state and government officials naseem is lucky to get away with the fine

Please do check the amendments imran khan made to peca act in 2022

Its a criminal offence

“Mr Ahmed was then awarded a ban of five years, effective from the 26th of March 2025, with the final 30 months being suspended pending completing education and his future conduct.”

Is this guy the person in England who is managing Naseem?

They barely pay their players and now imposing fines because he spoke up against daughter of a disgusting individual profiting off the common folk .

Makes no sense. Thousands of dollars over this

Who is the manager???

But he didn’t go “against” anyone. He just asked why’s she being treated like a queen.

Is he the father of some female cricketer in scotland,? Naima sheikh i think?

Naseem should focus on his bowling, has been exceptionally poor over the past 3-4 years,

I do believe that Pakistanis specialize in un-learning swing bowling..

Dr Nauman Niaz, Ex - Pakistan team Physio, Cricket Expert , Historian sharing his 2 cents on the Naseem incident. Stating the amount of fine is way too much. He highlights the complications on how PCB has dealt with this case. Also , this is one of the hefty fines in sports history
:zaka

Basit Ali shared following thoughts on Naseem Shah's fine in a local TV show:

Naseem Shah is very lucky. Let me tell you the inside news: he was set to be banned for two years; the committee had recommended it. Mohsin Naqvi told them not to ban Naseem and instead hand him a monetary penalty.

Off late , Basit Alis stance has been PRO PCB , he was supporting SSA in tampering saga , now siding with PCB , may be it due tk ARY effect.

Once retired no one takes even Sachin or Lara opinions seriously so why take Basit Ali seriously? Also I have seen Basit Ali turn from a extreme uber-India hater who would call every India wins fixing etc and put down cricketers from India to one of Indian crickets biggest fan on YouTube.

He is being unreasonable on Naseem Shah. Not sure if anything personal.

2cr fine.. For what??? any proof that naseem said that??? He cannot even speak good english, forget about typing that...

Regime doing what they did best. Shutting people up.
Its better than the alternative…unaliving them..

Although, having said that, is their any depth they wont stoop too to stay in power..

Naseem can sue the guy, right?

PCB should just give him a crewcut & let him go ... will help him in concentrating on his bowling & fielding much beeter .

Naseem Shah comes from a very humble background, made his debut at a very young age and his mother passed away during that tour.

He is usually controversy free , amid the chaos and circus of manipulation, groupings and player power in Pakistan cricket. But PCB made a hill out of mole, surely that will demotivate a player and many others.

Unlikely to play again under the chor government. You have the interior minister also being pcb chairman . This clown spends more time looking at cricketers while his country is at war with domestic security at an all time high . They are all incompetent fools , which naseem was pointing out .

Breach of contract is a feeble excuse aimed to keep their low iq supporters happy . This woman is a witch , has no role in cricket and is subject to public scrutiny being a politician. Naseem or any other voter has a right to ask questions of politicians who are suspected criminals .

He should retire and expose them all
Just like Haris Rauf and Shahid Afridi have a right to disassociate from politicians who are actually convicted criminals.

That history is irrlevent. He violated his contract and will pay 2 carores for it.

If he is innocent, he can appeal the decision

There is no need to play the emotional card here. Every individual goes through good and difficult phases in life, either personally or within family. Naseem has been part of the team for the past 7–8 years despite having no consistently outstanding performances, which in itself is questionable.

He certainly has the right to question the governance of any politician if he disagrees with them. However, targeting a politician simply for attending a program at the invitation of the PCB is completely uncalled for.

Could have given him a warning and a suspension (without pay) for some matches.

Giving him a 2cr fine is way too excessive for what seems to be something one among his social media team did.

I do agree that he needs to face some fines. What his social media mgr has done is definitely not on. Hopefully he does have some legal recourse.

At least these players will think twice before focusing on politics instead of the cricket they are paid to play.

That's not the point though.

Pakistan's ex cricketers routinely go on TV and criticize everything and everyone about Pakistan and Pakistan's cricket when they aren't employed by the PCB only to go into full bootlooking mode when PCB employs them for a term.

Regardless of whether it was Naseem or an employee of his social media firm who posted the tweet , the point is selected punishment.

He's not going to starve because of this. A 2cr fine would probably be about 9-10 months of his central contract. Which is rather excessive.

But he still has his earnings from PSL and the other T20 leagues to compensate.

The point is that he can take retirement from international cricket , opt for US/UK citizenship and continue playing the T20 leagues whereas Pakistan might end up losing a player they clearly invested time and money in.

Criticising PCB or coach & selection committee on national television after retirement or getting dropped is the forte of most of the Pakistani ex cricketers. They are earning their livelihood with these antics. I have rarely seen a cricketers owning their failures gracefully and not blaming PCB. Guys like Sarfraz, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Fawad Alam never said anything bad about PCB, they quietly moved on

Also one more point is that the example has been set by previous Pakistani cricketers. What does that convey to the current lot ?
