National T20 Cup Young Talent versus IPL Young Talent

It seems to me that our youngsters have a lot of talent but look raw and not ready for international cricket or playing at the highest level, but some of the Indian youngsters coming through seem better prepared for the challenges of international cricket, better coached and better equipped for international cricket.

The Indians are in a very competitive system, where the new generation are aiming to match or better the previous generation. Our system is a mess littered with overaged players, gaming the system to such an extent that Millions are being wasted on guys that are already too old to invest in. Naseem Shah should have been made an example of but instead we had the PCB play along with the fake age and morons like Ramiz mentioning his fake age in every sentence.

No xfactor , all well coached ,great skill.. we have been reaching the finals consistently though.. I think once Kohli's generation retires we might get better at winning?

Partially agree.
We have won LOI series in places where we have hardly won before. E.g. SA and won several bilateral/multinational tournaments over the years. However, we haven't won a World Cup and quite frankly that's what's remembered.
Though to win a WC, a lot of things have to go your way. You either need to be good + very lucky like England or a real champion team like Australia. Still one bad day and you are out.

Those 11 should be v v good then.
Frankly, in last WC, we had two outstanding batsmen ( kohli / sharma), and five bunnies after that to make our batting line up.
So while Indian fans ( including me) can gloat over Indian talent vs Pak talent, I genuinely think, a lot of them are not going to win us World Cups or overseas test series

Or we have stupid selectors and team management who believe in first come first serve theory.
Thats the reason mayank didn't get a chance for 2-3 years when they kept playing Dhawan then Vijay etc.
Then there is regional bias and politics.
Since Srikanth took over the selection committee every committee has been a joke, the last one by msk prasad was the worst one.

He and his buddy Shastri played DK over Mayank in WC semis.
They kept playing Thakur because he can bat a bit.
They brought back Bhuvi for WC semis after he had missed previous 3 matches due to injury. They dropped Shami who had taken 15 wickets during that period.
If the selectors were jokers, the team management is the same.
India has a better system and better coaches......the one single reason is Rahul Dravid........A team or u19 team ....he is the mentor the coach to them.......not any random Razzaqs Misbahs .......that's a big difference.......Saif Badar was played at 7 8....what he will learn from batting there .....UMER Khan hardly bowls 2 overs in some PSL matches.....what he will learn......Poor Hamad has been mistreated several times.....

Good analysis
I dont believe in this talent word. Indian kids are doing well in long run because their base is developed on proper technique and they are groomed by proper cricket system - end result is completeness which eventually wins. I hear people say - technique is over-rated .... partially true, but when you are already a Viv Richards, Javed Mirandad or Younis khan. The Viv Richards world saw after 1974, spent 5 long years to learn the trait in Antigua & then in Somerset.
I make it simpler - at official two years younger age of Haider Ali (who is 20 now), some Imran Nazir cost my one nights sleep - a scintillating 131 in two sessions against a rampant Reon King, supported by Walsh, Ambrose & Rose in the Mecca of WIN cricket - Barbados, facing a 1st innings deficit of ~150. That innings had everything - particularly few back-foot punches through either side of covers on the rise against an angry Ambrose, punches like a double leg back kick by a Stallion. Yes, I can say that guy wasted his career - didnt mature with time .... the problem is now that PP scrams these days talent, talent, talent .... for Shahebzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Mo Asghar, Faheem Ashraf, Mo Hasnain, No Musa, Naseem Shah, Haider Ali, Shadab Khan ......... then wonders later - why oh why .....

Danish kaneria is right fitness and feilding standards having been poor
but to say that there are no young talents is ridiculous since even abdullah shafiq who is much better off for tests amd odis with his playstyle is leading runscorer and scocred a century on debut and not to forget haider ali,zeeshan malik and zeeshan ashraf with shan masood also showing his worth.

Danish criticising the fielding and fitness standards is akin to Danish criticising someone for match fixing.
Danish is right regarding unfit players and broadcasting but I disagree with him regarding youngesters but more should be given a go.

Why, what has Kaneria got to gain from us? 99% of Indians don't know him and those who saw him play for Pakistan in the mid-2000s have likely forgotten about him.
Once again nothing makes me laugh of how can one be so stubborn to accept other person's point of view........like some of his cricketers......

My point is local bowlers of PSL and Pakistan esp pacers are better than IPL ..overall.....I hope Rabada Archer Nortje are not local bowlers...
Yes IPL is a premier league and Indian batsmen are better than Pakistan .....streets ahead...
But not local bowlers...
Ipl and Psl can't be compared one is 13 yrs old ...and other is only 5.....and that too only this year it is being held at PAK...

Haven't watched any National t20 match But have checked scorecards. Some teams like Northern Punjab & KPK look very strong. They are almost as good as Pakistan NT. Then there are teams like Balochistan which look very weak and are filled with test match players. A guy like Saad Nasim is leading Central Punjab. Sahibzada Farhan was hailed as next big thing in Pakistan Cricket just two years back and now he is made to bat at 9. I am not trolling but seriously want to know that how do such things happen in Pakistan Cricket at such a high level?

India local batting is way better than Pakistan local
Saad nasim is leading due to babar having a rest
Akif javed is a real talent needs to play domestic
