We talk a lot about negative batting but rarely give similar scrutiny to the scared and negative bowling tactics.

stop with this short of the length none sense and pitch the ball up to give it a chance to move. Apart from Amir's first over, they never looked like getting a wicket and seemed content in letting Indians play themselves in.

They have to target the 4-6 yard area from the stumps more often and give themselves more of a chance of getting a wicket. The best way to curtail the run rate is by taking wickets!! The Pakistani bowlers seemed to have forgotten that.

Read the article about analysis of appalling performance on cricinfo. As per the article these days India" average score in the first 10 overs is 48. Against Pakistan they were 46/0. Pakistan played right into the hands of India.

Exactly the pak captain fell right in the Indian trap... the Pak bowlers and captain were very happy containing the Indian batsmen and didn't try to take any wickets. If you look at the Indian strategy for the last couple of years- they have always played slowly in the first powerplay, conserve the wicket and hit big in the last overs. The Indian team seams to have taken the cue from Kohli who has always paced his innings in a similar way while chasing a total. I must say - very poor analysis by MA and Sarfaraz (extrwmely poor captaining too) who failed to anticipate indian game plan based on past plays.

It seemed to me that it was a bowling strategy that they will bowl short of length. You can thank Azhar Mahmood for this piece of insight.

Everything is wrong with this team from A to Z.

The bowlers don't have the heart or mental toughness to bowl attacking lines and length, if they conceede one 4 or 6, they just fold mentally and fall apart. Hassan Ali is one guy who holds his cool when hit.

cant understand why Amir bowls at 4th/ 5th stump line out side off stump...its a negative line to contain batsmen(dont know whose idea it is)

such a good bowler... he should always look for bowled/ lbw
