is it going to be an early start today?

Cricinfo bolded 1030 am for some reason.
 
Make or Break day for this test and NZ

If Pak remain batting at end of day, then NZ can kiss the series goodbye.

If Pak are bowled out without a lead or smallish one, then NZ have a chance of forcing a win in the next 2 days.

I believe NZ have to force the pace of this game - Pak should do more than just survive and take the attack to NZ
 
Pakistans plan? They need to look to bat all day. Solid partnerships and just need to get to kiwis total and then look to pass it. wicket is good for batting and hopefully YK, Misbah and Asad can all get runs along with Azhar as well.
 
^ Pakistan will Insha-allah score over 400 runs and NZ will crumble in the second inning. I would say below 200.

it's interesting to read that some Pak fans are now p!ssing & moaning that the team is now "boring" :misbah

and yet Pakistan is on the verge of winning it's first test series in god knows how many years :asif

you will note the very short price of the Draw. There are several reasons for this

1. the conditions are not favouring the bowlers. The pitch is flat and the windy weather is making the bowlers huff and puff more than usual :hadlee

2. weather forecast for Days 4 and 5 is not looking good.

3. there has been a shift in market opinion regarding Pakistan's ability to remain at the crease when required. Even when they lose a couple of quick wickets to some very good deliveries, the new batsman who come in look assured and don't start panicking and hitting 'exciting' shots. In other words, Pakistan no longer looks like a collapse that is about to happen :butt

I actually want us to fight this out without any help from rain. Gives the series win much more meaning. This team needs to win or draw this match on their own.

mate we haven't won a Test series in 4 years, I'll take anything at this point :malik

it's actually been a very difficult test for me to trade

usually I can bank on some wild fluctuations in performances on the field and the market opinion therein

usually by the end of day 2 i would have a book that reads plus or minus a few hundred pounds on the various results

and yet my book currently reads:

NZ -£0.60

Pak +£7.00

Draw +£24.87

and that's probably how it's going to remain because as I said above it's been a difficult test for me to find an angle

and that's all credit to Pak who are looking solid imo :)
 
Overcast Conditions + Pak Batsman = Fail

In for a collapse are we?

Hope they prove me wrong :)
